REVIEW: Etude House Princess Etionette 2 Crystal Shine Lips!

Hello my lovies! It's been a few weeks since I've last posted! Hope you've all had a very enjoyable New Year! I'm finally ready to start my new year off right & get into some well needed blogging. I've had enough of the hiatus!

Click the photo for a more in-depth look at the description of these beautiful lipsticks.
This can be found on Beautynetkorea.com's website description of the Crystal Shine Lips.

As many of you know, I've bought a few items from the new Etude House Etoinette 2 line they recently released since I wasn't able to take advantage the last Etoinette collection they had. I was really excited to get these lippies in the mail. I had intentions on buying the red shade over the nude shade but came to the conclusion that I wouldn't wear the red shade as often as I would the nude shade. I'm extremely happy with my decision!

I'm not sure what it says ^^; This is one of those times I wish I was able to read Korean.

Korean description.

[ DESCRIPTION ]

" All your romantic princess dreams will come true.
Girls, be the Princess!

From Princess Etoinette... "

Etude House
Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips

This perfumed smooth lipstick delivers a surge of moisture and a soft shimmering flush, giving your lips a gorgeous look.

[ DIRECTIONS ]

Twist to dispense makeup and apply evenly to lips.

[ CAUTION ]

1. Use only as directed.
2. Avoid storing in high and low temperatures and areas exposed to direct sunlight.
3. Cease use if problems arise.

Now I'd like to go into the lipstick case itself bc I've never seen something so pretty in my life. It's gotten me to the point where I want to purchase the earlier release of the Etoinette collection.

Similar to the last Etoinette collection, this has the same concept, except the casing is white & the Etude logo is silver. I think it's insanely classy looking & clean.

An in-depth look at the container from top to bottom. I love the cute accents! Really princess like. I wish I could base my room off of these pretty containers.

Let's get into the colors!

" Moon Flower Under The Stars "
Pinky beige & shimmering pink purple pearl.

PBE102 is the nude color of the three lipsticks. This was the color I wasn't planning on buying but decided otherwise after realizing I wouldn't wear the red color.

The color looks a little brown in the photo above, but translates differently on my lips.

By far, my favorite & most used of the two lipsticks.

" Precious Etoinette Peony "
Wine pink & purple shimmering pink purple pearl.

PPK005 is the pinker lipstick of the three,  but isn't a hot pink. It's definitely a very deep, blue-pink lipstick.

This swatch also translates a bit differently on my lips, but not by much.

I think this color looks wonderful on my lips but haven't figured out what look I'd like to pair with it just yet.

If you want a swatch & review on the red color of the three lipsticks, Misa has done a full review on that color. Check her review out here.

I think the only thing I sort of dislike about these lipsticks is the smell. This goes for almost all the products from their line. They all smell heavily of Peony. I think it smells almost grandma like, or a scent a grandmother would wear ( one of my grandmothers has worn a scent VERY similar to the scent of the Etoinette 2 line ), but the lipsticks are very tolerable & the scent fades quickly. My mom says they don't, but I beg to differ. Other than that, I love these lipsticks. They aren't drying whatsoever! I'm super happy I decided to finally try Etude House lipsticks!

4.5/5

Only taking off a half of a point due to the smell I don't quite care for.
