♥ Valentine's Day Makeup Look ♥

Hello again lovies. Valentine's Day is only two days away. Do any of you have anything planned? Maybe a super duper romantic date with your hunnie? Or maybe a date with your bestest friends or even the little one in your life? You could be staying home, which is perfectly okay. And for all those who don't have a Valentine, I'll be all of your Valentines!

I decided to randomly do a makeup tutorial dedicated to the day of love. Pink & red hues with a little chocolate brown & champagne sparkle, this makeup look brings many colors of Valentine's Day to your eyes!

Let's start!

I think brown or pink lenses suit this makeup look perfectly. I was planning on wearing my GEO Grang Grang Big Choco lenses for this [ will do a review very soon ]. These are the Barbie Eye Super Nudy Pink circle lenses. I bought these from Candylens.

Using my normal primer, Etude House's Baby Choux Base in Berry Choux, I primed my face for BB cream & concealer. For this look, I decided to try out the CLIO VF 21 Water BB Cream from the 4th edition of the Memebox along with my usual concealer, the Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow Concealer.

Taking out my Etude House Play Color Eyes Palette, So Chic :

Taking French Kiss [ left ] I applied that all over my lids, then taking Misty Rose [ right ], I blended it out very lightly into my crease.

I then applied a little bit of Sparkling Wine to my lid to give it a small amount of shimmer. If you want more shimmer, I suggest wetting whatever eye brush you are using to get the shadow to appear more opaque on your lid.

Going in with Diva & a blending brush, I applied then blended on the outer half of my lids & into my crease.

Next, I applied Leopard Brown to the outer corner of my eye to give the look a bit more depth & to darken the makeup slightly.

Finally, for my highlight, I took Pop Champagne & applied that all over my brow bone.

You can go with either brown shadow, brown liner, or black for your eye liner, as I think all options are wonderful. I decided to go with a double winged black liner.

To complete the eye makeup, take your favorite mascara, I'm using Maybelline's The Rocket Volum Express Mascara in black & generously apply to your upper & lower lashes. If you want to wear lashes, wear them!

The final look.
I forgot to use primer. The shadow started to crease, so if you have oily eyelids like mine, I do recommend using your favorite eye primer so your shadow will last throughout the day/night.

I filled my brows in with Etude House's Color My Brows in shade #5 Blondy Brown.

For blush & highlight, I used Etude House's Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color in shade PK001 Blueberry Cheese Cake & applied that to the apples of my cheeks, then took Etude House's Bling In The Sea Cheek Sun Brightener in Apricot & applied that to the high points on my face [ cheek bones, middle of forehead, bridge of nose, cupids bow, & middle of chin ].

To finish off the entire makeup look, I took Lime Crime's Geradium & applied that all over my lips!

Finnish!

Here's what the makeup looks like without my hair all done.

I find it very cute & flirty looking. You can really make a difference by changing up the lenses, eyeliner, and/or adding lashes. It's really all up to you!

SELFIE TIME!

I adore this look, I think I did a pretty good job & if I were going out for a dinner or something, I'd rock this look. I'll be working all Valentine's Day though, so I may find another way to add some color to my face that day.

I took this last photo with my iPhone camera since my camera died on me in the middle of taking photos. I thought my eyes looked really cute!
That's all for this tutorial.
Please let me know if you enjoyed!

    1. Thank you Gloria :) I really did nothing to my hair. It was in a hair bun before I took it down. I was planning to fully curl it, but didn't have the time to get it done. I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day as well with your friends. Friends are great Valentine's! <3
