♥ REVIEW : Laneige Water Drop Tint ! ♥

Hello my darling lovies. As usual, I'm so sorry for the delay in reviews, the past week was super busy for me as I have a wedding to attend and we had a surprise bridal shower for the bride-to-be! I made Oreo Truffles, both milk and white chocolate and they were a hit!

I'm super happy to be reviewing this lip tint that I won from a giveaway held by Misa and Rini for the Summer Giveaway they were holding. I was super happy I was contacted that I had won this giveaway. Since it was a first for me, I'm still very thankful to have this lip tint in my possession.

So, the packaging seems to be pretty basic. It's not as flashy or cutesy as some other brands are, but this simple, no gimmick packaging is sleek and classy. The entirety of the box is silver, with the only English being the name of the product as well as what color it contains.

Pretty simple instructions on usage, but didn't come with an ingredient list.. and I got this from Laneige's website. There are three claims it makes : moisturized, plump, and non-sticky nor dry lips. Does it really claim to do just that?

What I do like is the array of colors that Laneige offers for this line. I especially like Orchid Violet. Super pretty for summer.

Just like the box, the product packaging is quite simple as well. These photos are quite bad, so excuse them, but the top is a mirrored like base for the applicator, while the bottom part where the lip tint is held, is white with a little "peek a boo"  to show which color is in the container.

As you can tell, the color from the photos before these are quite different from these ones here and that's my fault. The ones shown here are pretty true to color. There's a wide applicator with a little hole in the middle that annoys me when applying this lip tint.

The left photo has a fresh swipe of the lip tint. It's a little shiny and the color pay off as really nice. The right photo, I left the tint on my hand for about 5 minutes and wiped it off. You can faintly see some tint left over. I like that this lip tint doesn't leave a crazy tint of color. It's just right for my everyday wear.

This was just an all over application, how I normally would wear this on a daily basis. The application is easy and the tint has a sweet, almost artificial fruit scent that I don't mind at all. Even though I am not that big of a fan of the applicator, it works the product easily over my lips.

I don't have one negative thing to say about the actual product. It does as it claims. This lip tint gives my lips that "my own, but better" look that I really like! My only complaint is the hole in the applicator. It makes it annoying to use up all the product on the applicator before sticking it back in the container to get more. Other than that little tidbit, I really love this lip tint; more than I had anticipated. I wanna say wearing this fresh will leave me about 3-4 hours of continuous wear without eating or drinking, but since this does leave a slight color after fading, my lips look healthy. I don't wanna say this plumps my lips up so much, but they do look much nicer when this is applied.

I will definitely be buying other colors of this lip tint line!

Color pay off is great.
Doesn't leave lips sticky.
Smells nice.

Applicator is a little weird for me.
Doesn't particularly plump my lips up.

  3. I like the pink shade, although I think it won't be too much visible on more pigmented lips. If these weren't so expensive, I would definitively buy one. Thanks for the review:)

    1. You're right. With pigmented lips, I think the darker shades would show better than some of the lighter shades. I wish they weren't so expensive either :P Thank you for reading xoxo <3

    1. I really like how this lip tint isn't so bright that I can wear it daily. I believe it's worth the money, especially if you're really looking for a good lip tint that won't dry your lips out like most do within minutes of application. Thank you darling <3 and thank you for reading! xoxo <3

  6. I absolutely LOVE the color!! It's super pretty and the color is natural looking. I dislike the price >.< But I heard pretty good reviews of this little guy. I actually like applicators like this actually. This sort of reminds me of loreal color riche caresse wet stain lippies~ :3 But thanks for the review! :D

    1. If the prices weren't so high, I think I would already own all of them. The applicator doesn't bother me except for that small hole in the middle of it. It's annoying IMO lol. Thanks for reading Aimee! xoxo <3
