MONTHLY BEAUTY BAG : February 2014 Ipsy Bag!

Hello lovies. I know I skipped over January's Ipsy Bag, but to be honest, it sucked for me, & I wasn't happy with everything I got... & then the February Bag came. When I checked my Glam Room on the Ipsy website & saw that these were the items I was going to be receiving, I was super happy.

Let's get into the contents of the bag, shall we?

This month, I received 5 products total, 3 being full sized, 2 deluxe samples.

First up is City Color's Be Matte Blush in the shade Fresh Melon. By far the brightest blush I own to date.

It's a beautiful, bright pink. It's much brighter in person & the color payoff was something I didn't expect.

This is a small swatch on my hands that I did with my fingers. I used a blush brush for application & WOW, this brush is super bright! I have to be extremely careful with how much I actually use on my cheeks or I'll have neon pink cheeks.

I literally just have to use the smallest amount on my cheeks to have a nice flush of color.

Full size retails $2.99 for 8.9g.
You are getting the full size.

I have always loved nail polish, so I was pleased to get a full sized Zoya polish in my bag this month. The name of this polish is called Dot, & it's a pretty baby pink. I wasn't able to swatch this on my nails, but I assume this will take more than 2 coats to become opaque. I love my pinks!

Full size retails $9 for 0.5fl oz.
You are getting the full size.

If you're familiar with Nailtini, as Ipsy has given us a few in our bags, this Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow + Base in One. This is basically a 2 in 1 eye product. I received the color Ambrosia.

It has a bit of sparkley-metallic give off that would make a wonderful shadow base.

You can see the sparkles better here. The shadow isn't as opaque on the eye unless you use a good amount of it. I only used about a dot or two.

Full size retails $18 for 0.14oz.
You get the full size.

I received a deluxe sample of IPKN NY Moist & Firm BB Cream. I love my BB Creams.

I read online that it has collagen in it. I love makeup with collagen! I got this in the shade light, which I assumed would be too dark for my skin.

You can barely see the color here, but in regular lighting, it seemed not to match the skin of my hand as well as it did on my face. I really like this BB Cream.

It blended quite well into my natural skin tone. Also, the BB cream was very easy to apply.

Full size retails $35 for 1.30z.
The sample is 0.05oz & is worth about $7.

I'm not a huge gloss fan. Not even in the least. However, this Pop Beauty Plump Pout Mini is such a pretty color that I actually enjoy wearing it. It's not too sticky at all.

It comes with your standard doe foot applicator.

I received the color Peony Petal. I didn't think I would like the color as much as I did, bc I wanted the other one, which is named Fuschia Freesia. It's a much brighter pink than this, but I am pleased with the color pay off.

Full size retails $16 for 3oz.
This sample is 4g & is worth about $1.15.

The Ipsy subscription service is $10 per month.
This bags total comes to $38.14!

Pretty good for this month. I'm very happy with all the items I got this month.

I decided to start taking photos with all the items applied to my face, besides the polish, LOL.

Hope you've enjoyed this review!
Have a wonderful day <3

MONTHLY BEAUTY BAG: November 2013 Ipsy Bag!

Hello darlings. It seems I haven't posted all week.. I was totally at a stop. I definitely don't want to stop blogging, I was just having an off week to regroup myself. Also, I played a lot of Pokemon X... so that may have been why I wasn't posting anything. For those of you who play, comment your FC down below & I'll add you!

Let's get to this months Ipsy Bag!

This months theme was Glam It Up.

I got 4 full sized products & 2 deluxe samples, for a total of 6 items, which is 1 more than I would normally get.

The bag is a super pretty, gold, snakeskin or alligator print, with a pink lining on the inside.

Fancy!

Let's get onto the products!

Nailtini - Champagne

I received another Nailtini Polish in our bag. The others, I didn't like, but this one, I'm in love. It's in the color Champagne & reminds me more of a rose gold color.

I really love this one, especially since the holiday seasons are coming up.

Pixi Beauty - Bronzer - Subtly Suntouched

Finally, a bronzer that shows up on my skin tone. The consistency is really nice & opaque. I can see myself using this more often if I remember to actually use it.

Starlooks Gem Eye Pencil - Amethyst

Hands down, my favorite of the bag. It's a beautiful, silvery violet eye liner. I like using this on my water line & lash line. It's super pretty on. The consistency is also amazing. Applies like butter.

Be A Bombshell Lip Crayon - Hot Damn

A really pretty, bright red. I can't say that it's your typical red, but it's a really blue based red in my opinion. Easy to apply. I like the product as well. Most of the Be A Bombshell products are great quality.

HSI Professional Argan Oil Leave-in Hair Treatment

I love Argan Oil & what it does for my hair, so I'm really looking forward to see how well this works for my hair, especially for my ends.

em michelle phan Lash Gallery Lengthening Mascara - Brown

Unfortunately, I am not a big brown mascara user, so I highly doubt I will be using this at all. I might give this one to my mom if she would use it. However, the mascara does have lengthening benefits.

So, that's all for this month. I do like this bag better than the last one.

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

MONTHLY BEAUTY BAG: October 2013 Ipsy Bag!

Hello darlings. It's been awhile since I've done an Ipsy Bag post. I should start keeping up with things like this & start incorperating more things into my blog that seem interesting. I'm going to start babbling... ^^; Let's get started with this months bag!

This months these was "Love of Beauty is Taste. The Creation of Beauty is Art." Inspiring quote, I received 3 full sized products & 2 deluxe samples!

Zoya - Neve

It's a mix between a blue/purple to me. Really pigmented & pretty. Not normally something I would wear, but I love the way it looks on me.

Ofra Lipgloss Plumper - Sultry

Not really a color nor texture I like. I didn't notice any plumping after wearing it for awhile. Not my favorite of the bag.

H2O Face Oasis - Hydrating Treatment

I'm always up for trying new facial products, so I'm really excited to try this one out. It's such a pretty blue color!

Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection - Photo Op Eyeshadow A029 Desert Festival

I actually traded a product I didn't want to my mom for this, so I'm EXTREMELY happy about it. The colors are super pretty. I love the red/red-orange shadow the most!

Sexy Hair - Style Sexy Hair Spray Clay

I don't always have the best of luck with hair sprays, maybe this one will help my frizzles!

That's all I received this month. I'm fairly pleased besides the lipgloss, which I'll probably never use or give it to my mother. There is always next month! ^^

Hope you have a wonderful day.
Have an even better day tomorrow!
