REVIEW: Etude House Princess Etoinette 2 Eau de Toilette!

Hello my lovies. It's almost the middle of the week & I'm still battling with this cold I have. I'm hoping to be rid of it or mostly rid of it before the weekend. I have so much going on that I don't need to be sick for! Loading myself up on some medicine. :)

Today I'll be reviewing another product from Etude House's Princess Etoinette 2 Collection. I believe the Eau de Toilette was the centerpiece to the entire 2013 collection. I was really drawn to the bottle & how vintage like he was, with the cute puff you have to squeeze to get the perfume to spritz onto your skin, clothes, etc.

Let's start with the box the perfume box!

I really love the princess feel of this box. I love the silver details along with the white & pale pink colors of the box. The rose accents are by far my favorite element of the packaging. If I had had a place to display this, I would have kept it.

[ DESCRIPTION ]

" All your romantic princess dreams will come true. Girls, be the Princess!
From Princess Etoinette...

Etude House
Princess Etoinette
Eau De Toilette

In Versailles Garden, one peony blossomed at the end of a 60cm ling stem just once a year, and Princess Etoinette was fond of this precious flower for it's especially elegant scent.

[ DIRECTIONS & CAUTION ] Do not carry around. 1. For external use only. 2. Avoid contact with eyes. 3. Keep out of reach of children. 4. Discontinue use if signs of irritation and/or rash appear.

[ INGREDIENTS ] Alcohol, Fragrance, Water, Diethylamind, Hydroxbenzoyl, Hexyl Benzoate, Ethylhexyl, Methoxcinnamate.

Vol. 1.01 fl oz / 30 ml "

For anyone who is curious, this is what a Peony Flower looks like:

Peonies come in various colors, even white!

Easily, one of the prettiest flowers. I love how in the middle of the white is a pale gradient of pink. I can see why Etude House based the scent of the 2013 Princess Etoinette line off of this flower. Even the meaning of the peony flower fits the collection. Peonies are known as the flower of riches & honor. Sounds princess like!

So, fitting with the theme of the collection, the perfume bottle HAS to be the prettiest perfume bottle I've ever gotten!

The contents of the box is the pretty perfume bottle with a silver cap & a perfume puff.

The beautiful detailing of the bottle itself is simple, but very classy & clean.

The bottom of the bottle has some information about the perfume as well as the manufacture date.

My favorite part of the bottle is the beautiful white lace puff that allows the perfume to be spritzed onto your skin. It's the most elegant touch I've seen on an Etude product. The puff isn't hard to squeeze & the perfume spritzes out enough to last all day.

However...
I can't believe there's a however..

I really am not feeling the scent of this perfume at all. I had super high hopes that this would smell more fresh/floral than floral bc this SMELLS SO FLORAL. This perfume smells exactly like a Peony... like a grandmother. That's what I think of when I smell this. Smells like something my grandmothers would wear. It's sad to say, bc this was a rather expensive product. I really wanted to love this scent.

EDIT: I forgot to mention something about why you're not supposed to carry this around. Since the puff has to spritz the perfume, the puff has small holes in it. I ended up attaching the puff & threw away the silver cap not thinking. I came home & some of the perfume had leaked out onto some other products I had just bought. If you plan to travel with this perfume, I HIGHLY recommend keeping the silver cap.

What I do like about the bottle is, since the spray nozzle is able to be twisted off, is that you can probably refill the bottle with any perfume of your choice, that is if you can get the cap off of the other perfumes bottle. I'm definitely gonna have to look up a how-to for that.

3.5/5

If all else fails, the bottle is super cute & works well as room decor. It's kind of what I would have loved to base my room off of if I had the means to do so.

NOVEMBER HAUL: BeautyNetKorea, TesterKorea, Kpoptown, Lime Crime, & eBay!

Hello my lovies! I put in some work this November & bought a good amount of stuff. I finally have received everything I ordered last month & have decided to compile it into one post.

As you can see from the top banner, I purchased a lot of Etude Houses new Princess Etoinette line, which I'm super excited to review for you.

Let's get into my haul for the last month!

BeautyNetKorea

From L - R:

Etude House - Play Color Eyes - #2 So Chic Play [ x ]
Mizon - Snail Recovery Gel Cream [ x ]
Etude House - Princess Etoinette All Over Powder [ x ]
Etude House - Princess Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips in shade #PBE102 & #PPK005 [ x ]
Various samples, mostly Etude with the exception of a mini Tony Moly Cat Chu Wink Lip Tint

This was probably the first website that had almost all of the Princess Etoinette collection. I almost didn't get the nude color from the Etoinette collection. I was planning to get the red colored lipstick, but made the assumption I wouldn't really wear that color. BEST DECISION EVER!

Kpoptown

Etude House - Princess Etoinette Eau De Toilette & Mirror [ x ]

I decided on a whim that I really wanted the perfume out of the collection, & it was a bonus that it came with the Princess Etoinette mirror.

eBay

Etude House - Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base

Got the full sized product since I ran out of the samples I bought a few months back.

TesterKorea

From L - R:

Holika Holika - Soda Pore Cleansing BB Deep Cleansing Oil [ x ]
The Saem - Peeling So Good Strawberry Yogurt Moisture Pack & Peeling [ x ]
Etude House - Dear My Blooming Eyes in Shade #OR201 [ x ]
Various Samples.

I'd been eyeing up the BB Cleansing Oil for quite sometime & decided it was finally time to get it. The Strawberry Yogurt Mask is a substitute for a Laneige product. I was also eyeing up the palette as well. I had a few credits when I bought these, so I'm really happy I got all of this for less than $20.

Lime Crime

Lime Crime Velvetines in Red Velvet & Pink Velvet [ x ]

I already purchased Suedeberry months back & Lime Crime was having an awesome Black Friday sale going on. The website was having so many issues while I was trying to purchase these since they are in such high demand, but with a little patience & persistence, I was able to successfully add both to my cart & purchase within 30 minutes. They were on sale for $14 & had a promo code for another 30% off the entire order!

Ahh, so much! Probably one of the biggest hauls I've made in the last few months. I have another one already planned for next month thanks to TesterKorea having an awesome sale going on. I'd take advantage before the 20th arrives.

Hope you've enjoyed my haul! <3

Have a wonderful day!

REVIEW: Holika Holika Wonder Drawing 24Hr Auto Eyebrow!

Good morning lovelies. Glad to be back to blogging! I'm definitely feeling much better, but now little man has gotten sick! Poor baby, but he's taking it like a champ! Today, I'm reviewing Holika Holika's Wonder Drawing 24Hr Auto Eyebrow pen in the color Red Brown.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to use this product any more as it's much too dark for my hair color now, but regardless of that factor, I would definitely recommend this eyebrow pencil to anyone. The packaging isn't really special. It's more sleek looking, with dual ends. It's quite easy to travel with & is good for days when you may need to reapplying, but I've found that my eyebrows stay looking nice throughout the day when using this.

What I love about this product is how easy & convenient it is to use. The product is shaped in a way that makes it easy to use & draw eyebrows on without going through too much trouble. It's quite pigmented as well & has a bit of a waxy-ness to it that helps the hairs stay in place. The small spooly on the other end is quite useful for brushing the product in to make your eyebrows look more natural.

This is one swipe of the eyebrow pen. Pretty pigmented, but I wouldn't say it's a red brown. It looks more like a medium brown to me. However, I don't always have my eyebrows match my hair color at the time. I'd be walking around with red tinted eyebrows. Sounds pretty cool though. I may try that look one day :D.

Here's how the pen looks on my eyebrow:

As you can tell from the first picture, my eyebrows look a bit dirty-blonde instead of brown. ( I dislike my natural hair color ) They aren't as full & neat as my eyebrows should look. The bottom picture looks much better. The pen has filled in any gaps where hair may have been missing & my eyebrows look more full than they were before.

It's such a bummer that I'm unable to further use this product since bleaching my hair back to blonde, but I still will keep this handy in case I decide to go back to the dark side. hehehe. :P

Overall, a 5/5. I hope to get a color more suited to my hair one of these days.

Hope you've enjoyed this review. Sorry it's so short. I'm getting back into it!

REVIEW: Holika Holika Baby Silky Foot Mask Sheet!

Good morning darlings. Hope your week is passing by gracefully. With the September month, I was hoping for it to start getting much colder around where I live, but it seems the heat index isn't budging much. I'm just ready for the cold weather! Scarves, hoodies, blankets, bon fires, the whole nine! What about you? Are you a Fall/Winter junkie like me? Anyway, today I'll be reviewing Holika Holika's Baby Silky Foot Mask Sheet!

Let me start off by saying that I don't like feet. I don't even like my own. The only feet I like is little mans feet. When I was capable of going to a salon & getting a pedicure, I would go. For awhile, I didn't want anyone touching my feet, but caved when I got sick & tired of the way my feet look. I primarily wear flip flops, so my feet are exposed to a lot of people. I also walk around barefoot a lot, which ties in to why my feet are the way they are now.  I initially thought this was going to be the peeling foot mask, but I'm not upset at all. This product works pretty dang well for it's price.

I like the awesome pictorial on how to use this sheet mask. Especially the last picture. Shiny, baby soft feet? Sounds exciting!

[ DESCRIPTION ]

Holika Holika Baby Silky Foot Mask Sheet
Highly enriched essential foot sheet which makes your feet fresh and moist.

[ HOW TO USE ]
1. Wash your feet cleanly and dry them.
2. Divide foot mask sheet into two pieces along the dot line, put your foot into non-woven fabric with essence and wear it.
3. After wearing foot mask sheet, please massage your feet for the essence to be absorbed.
4. After 15~20 minutes, remove foot mask sheet and tap remaining essence softly for absorption.
*Use as a disposable item.

Pretty straight forward directions. Just a heads up, I didn't take pictures of my feet before or after using the sheet mask. I am not in any way comfortable with my feet, so I had no intentions on taking pictures of them. However, I will tell you how they were before the sheet mask & after its use.

[ BEFORE USE ]

My heels are pretty dry; have a few cracks in them. Sometimes, I'll get a random patch of dead skin around the inner parts of my foot. My biggest toe is a little rough as well. I try my best to give myself a mini-pedicure every week or every other week depending on how much time I have to waste.

Here's what the mask looks out of the packaging. At first, I wasn't sure if the essence was encased in something like this & that I was going to have to wrap my feet up with plastic bags, but I'm super happy they've already taken that step out of the equation. The masks come attached to each other & you tear them down the middle, by the ankle point, to get them apart. On the inside is a thin, mesh material, that allows the essence to soak into your feet correctly. I found it a little difficult to walk at first, but as time progressed, it got much easier.

It's not quite my bare feet, but here's my feet with the mask on them. The protective plastic covering is really innovative! I didn't expect that at all.

[ AFTER USE ]

I found my feet much softer than before, but this isn't a quick fix at all. I'd recommend this product to someone who regularly gets pedicures & has a day where they feel their feet need a little pick me up if you're unable to get to a salon or don't have the time. This worked well with getting my feet quite soft, but the results only lasted a few days for me. Being a person who is used to not wearing shoes when you don't have to, the results didn't stay long. It may be my fault, but overall, this is a good product for getting softer feet in less than 30 minutes!

I'm going to have to give this product a 3/5 since the results didn't last as long as I'd hope they would. I'm thinking next time, I should purchase the peeling liquid as well as a few of these to keep the baby soft feet I actually like. [ I admit, I'd allow someone else, besides the ladies at the salons, to touch my feet if they were baby soft all the time, LOL ].

REVIEW! Misty Night - Brown Lenses from BeautyLenses.com! [ SPONSORED ]

Good morning darlings. Today, I have a very special review! BeautyLenses.com sent me these beautiful lenses for me to review for them. I'm so very thankful for the opportunity & as this is my first sponsored review, I will always value them for their kindness. Before getting into the actual review, allow me to give you some back information on BeautyLenses.com.

 - BeautyLenses is the sister store to Kpoptown.com, except BeautyLenses solely focuses on lenses. They're located in South Korea, which is also where their lenses are made.

- DUEBA is their manufacturer, which is directly related to Baushch&Lomb. High quality & safe lenses! [ I use a contact solution made by the Baushch&Lomb brand ]

- As new as they are, they are adding more & more lenses to their website as they receive them. I've gone to check them out many times & have seen new lenses added. I'm positive they will have a much more expanse collection as their new website grows.

- In terms of pricing & shipping, for one-day lenses, they're $3.50 a pair. 1 year lenses, I've seen from $13.90 to their highest priced pair maybe close to $25. Prescription lenses are the same pricing as non-prescription lenses. Shipping, you ask? Oh, it's free. Worldwide free as well.

- They specialize in many lenses INCLUDING trending lenses you see famous KPOP idols wear, such as 2NE1's Park Bom & Girls' Generation's [ SNSD ] Tae Yeoun. Pretty nifty in my opinion!

- My personal thoughts on the website : Simple & easy to navigate. Everything is labeled correctly. I highly enjoy how  almost every lens is shown being worn by a model. I thought that made an awesome touch that I don't normally see. Also, customer service is amazing. They're very nice & are willing to help out any way they can.

As you may or may not know, these cosmetic lenses, or circle lenses are very popular among many young people, especially young females. They may you look more young, much more vibrant. Different lens color, shape, & design can give a different look than your normal, everyday look. They make your eyes look MUCH bigger & brighter. Now, let's get onto the review!

Let's talk about the packaging first!

I'm going to have to describe the envelope the lenses came in, somehow the file got deleted. The lenses came in a yellow, standard packing envelope. Nothing too fancy.

All nicely packaged in bubble wrap for secure shipping. Nothing was harmed or broken when I received the package.

As you can see, BeautyLenses went as far as to make their own lens boxes & lens labels. It makes everything much more person. They even sent a lens case along with the lenses. I, personally, like these cases more. They don't leak as much as the animal cases tend to [ I've had a previous pair of lenses dry up on me due to the animal cases ].

I have great vision, so there was no need for me to get prescription lenses, however, you are able to get these & other lenses with your prescription if needed.

Product name on the bottom of the box.

Onto the actual lenses themselves!

Misty Night - Brown

It took me a bit to figure out which lenses I really loved the most. I've always wanted to see how I looked with brown eyes. These lenses are so pretty & remind me of glinting amber or, as their name complies, mist!

Let's get into some ratings!

[ DESIGN ] 5/5. These are the most intricate lenses I have. The detail on these is pretty, & as I stated before, remind me of glinting amber in the sun. They blend in well with my naturally Hazel eyes.

[ COLOR ] 5/5. Such a pretty brown. I've never had a brown pair of lenses before. The color on these caught my eye & I really enjoy having these for the color.

[ COMFORT ] 5/5. My eyes have a lot of problems due to my allergies. Before putting these in, I have to apply an allergy drop to both my eyes & rinse the lenses in solution before putting them in my eyes. I have to say, these are the most comfortable lenses I've had to opportunity to have. You can tell about 6-8 hours after wearing how dry your eyes are, but that's normal to me.

[ ENLARGEMENT ] 5/5. Seeing as these are 15.0 mm, they are the biggest lenses I own to date. I love how big & dolly they make my eyes look. These lenses have become my everyday pair.

[ OVERALL ] 5/5. What can I say? These lenses are the bees knees!

SELFIE TIME!

I have not one negative comment to say about these lenses or BeautyLenses.com at all! Customer service is amazing. Site navigation is a breeze. I am thoroughly pleased with both the lenses as well as the website. To purchase these lenses, head on over to BeautyLenses.com to purchase!

To get a discount on your order, use the code ASHLEY when checking out! Anything to help my amazing readers!

I really hope you've enjoyed this review. I really enjoyed writing this up. I'm very thankful to BeautyLenses.com for this opportunity!
