MINI-REVIEW: Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base - Berry Choux!

Good morning darlings. It's almost Friday... I didn't mention this before, but my birthday is tomorrow & I'll be turning 22 *abruptly starts singing Taylor Swift* ! Another year under my belt :). Did anyone else watch the season premier of American Horror Story: Coven? Back when the whole AMC series started, I actually watched the very first episode, but unfortunately couldn't get into it. This season, however, is centered around my city's heritage & I must say, me & hunnie are HOOKED. Looks like my DVR will be set to record the entire series. Makes me wish I would have been interested in the other series! Enough about that, let's get into this mini-review!

I ordered this along with two other makeup bases from TesterKorea awhile ago. I think the sample package for this is insanely cute. I believe they have samples for the Apricot Choux as well, but this one caught my eye better than the other, however, I'd like to sample all three if possible.

The base is a very light pink color, though in the picture, it looks more peach. The bathroom lighting didn't do it any justice!

[ FIRST IMPRESSIONS ]

This is going to be short.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this makeup base.
I love how the consistency is smooth & easy to apply.
I love how easy it blends into the skin.
I love how amazing this smells. Like STRAWBERRIES.
I love how visibly brighter my skin looks as well as how wonderful my BB's apply & look with this makeup base.
I love this more than my It's Skin Babyface Base [ x ].

I don't think I could praise this little gem any more. It's truly that amazing.
Definitely on top of  my Holy Grail products to purchase. With that being said...

Verdict: PURCHASE & REPURCASE

As soon as I'm able to, probably next haul, I'm definitely getting this in a full sized container. I honestly cannot get over how well this base has worked for me. I'm still trying out a Holika Holika base as well, & there will be a review on that, but I honestly feel like nothing I've used before can completely compare to how wonderful this base has been to me.

MINI-REVIEW: Etude House Milk Talk: Choco & Sweet Recipe Ice Cream Shower Ball!

Good afternoon lovelies! This morning has been hectic! Thankfully it's Friday. Me & little man are going to visit my parents for the weekend, so I'm pretty excited to be out in the middle of nowhere to just relax & let go. Unfortunately, Hunnie couldn't come with due to some surprise events D:, but all is going to be well. Today for my mini-reviews, I'm actually bringing you two! Both products are from Etude House!

First, I'm starting off the Etude House's Milk Talk in Choco. I bought two packs of 10ea from TesterKorea to see how they fair up to most of my really expensive body washes. Before, I didn't have a chocolate body wash, so this was definitely a treat to have. The sample packet is good for one shower if you like to use a generous amount of the body wash, but you can definitely make it stretch for another wash if you want to.

 [ FIRST IMPRESSIONS ]

I didn't get a change to capture the color of the soap in a photo, but it's a slight brown color, but a clear brown. It smells EXACTLY LIKE CHOCOLATE MILK! It's quite moisturizing as well. However, [ & as many other reviews have stated ] the scent doesn't last long coming out of the shower. It also soaps up well with the Etude House Sweet Recipe Ice Cream Shower Ball.

Verdict: REPURCHASE

This smells way too good not to repurchase. I'd also like to check out the Strawberry & Banana scented Milk Talk Body Washes as well!

If you want to try it out for yourself:

TesterKorea.com - Etude Milk Talk Body Wash 3ml - USD $0.97 [ for 10ea ]
TesterKorea.com - Etude House Milk Talk Body Wash 200ml - USD $5.34
Kpoptown.com - Etude House Milk Talk Body Wash 200ml - USD $5.50
Koreadepart.com - Etude House Milk Talk Body Wash - USD $6.44

Keeping up with the shower theme I have going on, I'm also going to be reviewing Etude House's Sweet Recipe Ice Cream Shower Ball! I looked everywhere for this beautiful shower ball. Finally, after searching forever, I stumbled upon a picture on Tumblr of someone who purchased it, which lead me to TesterKorea... now thinking about it, searching for this shower ball is the reason I found TesterKorea!

 [ FIRST IMPRESSIONS ]

HOW CUTE HOW CUTE HOW CUTE!~

This shower ball is the cutest shower ball I've ever seen in my life. It soaps up any soap very well & the soap last quite a long time when using the shower ball. However, I noticed after constant use, the shower ball [ the part you wash yourself with ] is detaching a little from the Ice Cream Cone base. It's attached with a string instead of being sewn onto the base. I believe maybe a little waterproof glue will take care of that problem, but it is a little annoying that that has to be done.

Verdict : POSSIBLY REPURCHASE

I'm definitely going to see how it holds up once I fix it with some glue. This shower ball is too cute not to have around. It especially would make a wonderful gift!

If you want one for yourself:

TesterKorea.com - Etude Sweet Recipe Ice-Cream Shower Ball - USD $3.40

I was only able to successfully find this on these two website that I normally use. I'm pretty sure with a more in-depth search, you could find this shower ball on other websites.

I hope you've enjoyed these two reviews!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

MINI-REVIEW: Skin Food Cabbage Toner!

Good morning darlings! It's Friday~ ( don't get that song stuck in your head, OK? ). Hope you've all had a pleasent week. Mine was uneventful as usual, but my 3-day weekend looks promising. I have another mini-review for you today!

I got a few samples of these when I ordered from TesterKorea. What I like to do is have the samples with me when I'm spending the night away from home. They're much more travel friendly. Lugging around full sized products can be a task! ^-^;

[ FIRST IMPRESSIONS ]

You can kind of see the nasty it took off my face. This is after cleansing, of course.

The scent of this toner is odd. I'm not quite sure it's a genuine "cabbage" smell, but it's not unpleasant & it wears off quickly. When applying the toner, it applies really smoothly when used with the cotton round. It's also moisturizing. It didn't leave my face tight like a toner with alcohol would normally do. However, this doesn't clean as effectively as the Skin Food Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Toner [ x ] does. It's not a bad toner if you want something more natural cleansing your skin.

Verdict: MIGHT PURCHASE

If I didn't already have a good amount of toners/sample toners already in my stash, I'd probably go ahead & buy this for the fact that it doesn't leave my skin feeling too dried out. My only issue is that it doesn't cleanse as well as my other toners.

If you want to try it out for yourself:

TesterKorea.com - Skin Food Cabbage Toner Samples - USD $1.56
TesterKorea.com - Skin Food Young Leaves Pure Cabbage Gift Set - USD $0.78
TesterKorea.com - Skin Food Cabbage Toner - USD $10.68

Hope you've enjoyed this mini-review & I hope it was helpful!

Have a great weekend my lovelies!

MINI-REVIEW: Skin Food Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Toner!

Good morning lovelies. Today starts my new mini-reviews on the sample products I've collected & bought over the past few months. I mainly decided to start buying samples instead of full sized products due to the fact that I'm low on money & I thought about how I may not like a product. That'd mean I'd be stuck with a product I couldn't fully use. I'm hoping that every sample I try, I do like. So far, so good!

As far as what toners I've been using, the only "toner" I've used is Witch Hazel. So I thought about trying out a new one to see how I liked them. Which lead me to Skin Food's Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Toner. This is one out of a series of Sparkling Apple skin care products that Skin Food carries.

[ FIRST IMPRESSIONS ]

This is the excess dirt the toner got off of my face after cleansing. Gross right?!?

I really love this toner. I love the fresh apple scent it has & how the scent only lasts for a little bit. This toner cleans all the dirt & nastiness off my face that cleansing alone couldn't do. My face felt really fresh & completely clean after using. Not dry at all, but my face didn't feel very moisturized after, but I expect that with a facial toner.

Verdict: PURCHASE

Unfortunately, the websites I normally buy from aren't carrying this toner in the full sizes at the moment, & the website I found that does, the shipping cost is abnormally high for me. eBay is my best bet on getting this particular toner, so I'll probably wait until another day to purchase the full sized version. I ended up buying Skin Food's Peach Sake Toner [ x ] & a few Mini-Gift Sets [ x ] of the Toner & Emulsion in place of a full sized Apple Pore Toner.

If you want to try it out for yourself:

TesterKorea.com - Skin Food Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Toner Samples - USD $ 1.36
TesterKorea.com - Skin Food Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Gift Set - USD $ 0.59
Koreadepart.com - Skin Food Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Toner 160ml - USD $ 12.88

Hope you've enjoyed this mini-review! Let me know in the comments if you like seeing mini-reviews here. I hope to make this an every Friday or every other Friday depending on how many samples I have to review! I'll figure it out!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
