REVIEW: Etude House I Need You Honey Wash Off Pack!

Hello lovelies. Hope you're all doing well. I'm pretty sure most of you have seen Etude House's new collab with Disney's Minnie Mouse. I'm literally ecstatic over this collection. Thankfully, TesterKorea & Kpoptown carries all of the Minnie Mouse line & I was able to purchase a few products that really caught my eye, so be on the lookout for another haul post. I actually have a few I'm working on. I have a spending problem! ^^:

While I'm actually wearing the last of the masks right now, I figured it would be fitting to do a review on Etude House's I Need You Honey Wash Off Pack. This has 4 different masks types all mixed in with some amazing honey goodness. I think the packaging is really unique. Four separate masks to try out in cute little portions!

[ DESCRIPTION ]

Etude House Honey Wash Off pack, formulated with 4 types of eastern medicinal herbs and honey in separate packages to soften, pamper and nourish skin.

[ HOW TO USE ]

Gently massage the product onto cleansed skin, avoiding contact with eyes and mouth. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse off with warm water.

I'm going to break down each of the masks as to what benefits they provide, how they look, & how they worked on me.

[ ANGELICA EXTRACT ]

[ Soothes skin & constricts pores ]

The smell reminds me of something in my past. I'm not sure if it's an alcohol, but it does remind me of it [ how bad! ]. My skin is noticeably softer after use. My pores also looks much less refined then before use. Although, I'm not sure if I'll continue use of this mask. After applying, parts of my face started to feel itchy. I wasn't sure if it was the extract or the honey, so I needed to try the others to make completely sure what it was. The mask is light yellow in color.

[ RED GINSENG ]

[ Increases skin elasticity ]

Such a strange smell, but purfumey, if that makes sense. Like a scent a grandmother would wear. The mask is darker in color than the rest. This one doesn't make my skin itch at all, thank goodness. This was also moisturizing as well. I didn't notice a change in my skins elasticity though.

[ GINSENG ]

[ Rejuvenates skin ]

The regular ginseng mask has the same smell as the red ginseng mask. This is also a yellow colored honey mask, with the exception of little beads for exfoliation. Same outcome as the red ginseng as well.

[ CACTUS ]

I wasn't able to take a picture of this one. The mask is also yellow in color with the exception of some red beads for exfoliation as well.

[ Moisturizes & prevents aging, removes skin dirt ]

Out of all the honey masks, this mask smelled the best. It has a floral scent that I really liked. It started itching around my chin & upper lip area, but I would rather wear this one more than the others. My skin feels amazingly clean after use.

What these masks have in common:

They're all sticky to the touch. I recommend using a clean foundation brush to apply all of these masks on to avoid making a mess.

You also don't need a lot of product to cover your face. The picture above shows how much mask was left after applying it to my entire face. I either clip the packaging closed with a small chip clip & put it in a container in the fridge or transfer it to a small container. These masks definitely have more than one use.

Overall, I think these masks are pretty cool, but I'm not a fan of how sticky these are. I should have probably gone with the Yogurt option instead of this, but for what it's worth, this is a pretty good product. 3/5 stars.

MINI-REVIEW: Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base - Berry Choux!

Good morning darlings. It's almost Friday... I didn't mention this before, but my birthday is tomorrow & I'll be turning 22 *abruptly starts singing Taylor Swift* ! Another year under my belt :). Did anyone else watch the season premier of American Horror Story: Coven? Back when the whole AMC series started, I actually watched the very first episode, but unfortunately couldn't get into it. This season, however, is centered around my city's heritage & I must say, me & hunnie are HOOKED. Looks like my DVR will be set to record the entire series. Makes me wish I would have been interested in the other series! Enough about that, let's get into this mini-review!

I ordered this along with two other makeup bases from TesterKorea awhile ago. I think the sample package for this is insanely cute. I believe they have samples for the Apricot Choux as well, but this one caught my eye better than the other, however, I'd like to sample all three if possible.

The base is a very light pink color, though in the picture, it looks more peach. The bathroom lighting didn't do it any justice!

[ FIRST IMPRESSIONS ]

This is going to be short.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this makeup base.
I love how the consistency is smooth & easy to apply.
I love how easy it blends into the skin.
I love how amazing this smells. Like STRAWBERRIES.
I love how visibly brighter my skin looks as well as how wonderful my BB's apply & look with this makeup base.
I love this more than my It's Skin Babyface Base [ x ].

I don't think I could praise this little gem any more. It's truly that amazing.
Definitely on top of  my Holy Grail products to purchase. With that being said...

Verdict: PURCHASE & REPURCASE

As soon as I'm able to, probably next haul, I'm definitely getting this in a full sized container. I honestly cannot get over how well this base has worked for me. I'm still trying out a Holika Holika base as well, & there will be a review on that, but I honestly feel like nothing I've used before can completely compare to how wonderful this base has been to me.

If you would like to purchase this for yourself:

TesterKorea.com -  Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base - USD $1.94 [ for 10ea ]
TesterKorea.com - Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base - USD $10.68

Cosmetics-love.com - Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base - USD $13.76 [ on sale ]
Koreadepart.com - Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base - USD $10.89 [ original ]

Hope you've enjoyed this mini-review. Looks like my posting dates have changed. I'll most probably be posting a review & mini-review each week. Hope that's okay!

Have a wonderful day & an even better one tomorrow!

HAUL: September Buys - TesterKorea & Freeman Beauty!

Hello darlings. Hope you are having a wonderful start to your week. I'm still struggling to get that apartment finished & I'm hoping to be completely done mid-week. Besides that, I've picked up playing Dark Cloud 2. I accidentally saved over my pre-existing save so I thought " why the hell not! ". I'm thinking about switching around my posting days for a little while. It's just a thought for now. Let's get into my haul for the month of September.

I never really do these, or have done one period since my packages always came within a month or so of each other. I figured since I received both of these within a few days of each other, I would just combine them. I may start doing that once I get settled into my new room.

Let's start with TesterKorea. You all know how much I love this website, so I'll just get into showing what I got.

[ NOTE : From here until I get a better place for pictures, the quality won't be as nice as it used to be, so please bare with me. ]

From left to right :

Missha Creamy Latte Cleansing Foam - Chocolate [ x ]
It's Skin Babyface Pretty Under Eye Pencil [ x ]
Etude House Cupcake All Over Color - Blueberry Cheese Cake [ x ]
The Saem Snail Trio No. 3 Lavender Sleeping Pack [ x ]
Holika Holika Heartful Silky Lipstick - SRD802 Lovely Vampire [ x ]
Skin Food Gold Caviar Collagen Cream
Skin Food Egg White Pore Mask [ x ]

As for samples, I received :

Skin Food Royal Honey Nutrition Essence [ x ]
Skin Food Omija Whitening Emulsion [ x ]
Its' Skin Star Cream [ x ]
Missha Signiture Dramatic Base Boomer [ x ]
Skin Food Gold Caviar Emulsion [ x ]

Now onto my Freeman Beauty order.

In my mother Ipsy bag, she recieved 3 of Freeman Beautys new Facial Paper Masks & recieved an email about their website having a promo sail to get all 16 of their travel sized facial masks/scrubs. Also, with the promo code IPSYFB, you're able to receive a full sized Dead Sea Mineral Body Wash.

They also have free shipping with orders over $25, so I did take advantage of that.

I ordered a full sized Goji Berry Hydrating Mask as well as a Pomegranate Peeling Mask for my roomie. The Dead Sea Mineral Foam Bath smells amazing. I also received the travel sized masks as well as a freebie mask [ they give out a mask with each order ] & I believe I got one more mask extra [ me & my mother counted ours ]. These all can be found on this page here.

There is also another promo going on for Halloween. I definitely stress that you take advantage of both while they're still around. I love Freeman Beauty products so much!

That's all for tonight. Hope you've enjoyed this little haul post I put together. Now time for a shower & sleepy time!

Goodnight my loves. Have a wonderful sleep & dream peacefully. <3

REVIEW: It's Skin Babyface BB Cream!

Hello darlings. I'm late at another post again, please forgive me. I contemplated on whether or not I should post something since I've been so busy this past week & decided I had some free time to post. Moving is taking the life out of me & I cannot wait until I'm completely done. If I don't get a chance to post Friday, you'll know why! :P

This Babyface line is absolutely adorable! I'm slowly collecting all of them, at least I would like to! This is the BB cream from It's Skin's Babyface line. It was fairly affordable on Testerkorea.com & I'm always looking for awesome BB creams to try out so I settled on getting this one. The packaging, as adorable as you can see. This also comes with the little winged plastic packaging like the One-Step Base had [ x ].

The back of the packaging doesn't have any directions or a description, so I pulled one from Testerkorea.com.

[ DESCRIPTION ]

Babyface BB Cream
UV SPF 36 PA ++

Helps to maintain clear skin naturally covers blemishes to give, not a long time Dark Ning. [ what? ]

UV A and UV B SPF36 PA ++

Angel Steere good extract contains skin softening effect moisturizing grant safflower extract on the skin and softens the skin shows.

[ The translation they did was quite rough, LOL ]

[ HOW TO USE ]

Contents taken a good amount, it will spread by hand or puff or brush.

I love when I get products that come sealed like this!

There are a selection of two types of BB creams you can choose in this form: Moisture & Silky. I ended up choosing the Silky option.

This BB cream is much thicker than other BB creams I've used. Coverage is light to medium, but buildable. I'm sure with one more coat, you can achieve full coverage. I first applied this with a brush & the cream didn't spread as evenly & as easily as applying it with my fingers. Cream applies smooth as well. Easy to blend. It also settles very fast & doesn't smudge when I happen to touch my face.

However, there is less product that I had imagined. There is a lot of air in the container.

Overall, I'm highly pleased with this product, but the fact that there is a lot of air in the container definitely makes me feel a little annoyed. If I would have paid full price, I kind of would have felt cheated. I still will use this BB cream when I feel like switching up! Giving this a 4/5!

If you would like to try this product out for yourself:

TesterKorea.com - It's Skin Babyface BB Cream - USD $5.35 [ on sale ]

I hope you've enjoyed this review.

Have a wonderful day/night! <3
