HAUL: September Buys - TesterKorea & Freeman Beauty!

Hello darlings. Hope you are having a wonderful start to your week. I'm still struggling to get that apartment finished & I'm hoping to be completely done mid-week. Besides that, I've picked up playing Dark Cloud 2. I accidentally saved over my pre-existing save so I thought " why the hell not! ". I'm thinking about switching around my posting days for a little while. It's just a thought for now. Let's get into my haul for the month of September.

I never really do these, or have done one period since my packages always came within a month or so of each other. I figured since I received both of these within a few days of each other, I would just combine them. I may start doing that once I get settled into my new room.

Let's start with TesterKorea. You all know how much I love this website, so I'll just get into showing what I got.

[ NOTE : From here until I get a better place for pictures, the quality won't be as nice as it used to be, so please bare with me. ]

From left to right :

Missha Creamy Latte Cleansing Foam - Chocolate [ x ]
It's Skin Babyface Pretty Under Eye Pencil [ x ]
Etude House Cupcake All Over Color - Blueberry Cheese Cake [ x ]
The Saem Snail Trio No. 3 Lavender Sleeping Pack [ x ]
Holika Holika Heartful Silky Lipstick - SRD802 Lovely Vampire [ x ]

Skin Food Egg White Pore Mask [ x ]

As for samples, I received :

Skin Food Royal Honey Nutrition Essence [ x ]
Skin Food Omija Whitening Emulsion [ x ]
Its' Skin Star Cream [ x ]
Missha Signiture Dramatic Base Boomer [ x ]
Skin Food Gold Caviar Emulsion [ x ]

Now onto my Freeman Beauty order.

In my mother Ipsy bag, she recieved 3 of Freeman Beautys new Facial Paper Masks & recieved an email about their website having a promo sail to get all 16 of their travel sized facial masks/scrubs. Also, with the promo code IPSYFB, you're able to receive a full sized Dead Sea Mineral Body Wash.

They also have free shipping with orders over $25, so I did take advantage of that.

I ordered a full sized Goji Berry Hydrating Mask as well as a Pomegranate Peeling Mask for my roomie. The Dead Sea Mineral Foam Bath smells amazing. I also received the travel sized masks as well as a freebie mask [ they give out a mask with each order ] & I believe I got one more mask extra [ me & my mother counted ours ]. These all can be found on this page here.

There is also another promo going on for Halloween. I definitely stress that you take advantage of both while they're still around. I love Freeman Beauty products so much!

That's all for tonight. Hope you've enjoyed this little haul post I put together. Now time for a shower & sleepy time!

Goodnight my loves. Have a wonderful sleep & dream peacefully. <3

REVIEW: It's Skin Babyface BB Cream!

Hello darlings. I'm late at another post again, please forgive me. I contemplated on whether or not I should post something since I've been so busy this past week & decided I had some free time to post. Moving is taking the life out of me & I cannot wait until I'm completely done. If I don't get a chance to post Friday, you'll know why! :P

This Babyface line is absolutely adorable! I'm slowly collecting all of them, at least I would like to! This is the BB cream from It's Skin's Babyface line. It was fairly affordable on Testerkorea.com & I'm always looking for awesome BB creams to try out so I settled on getting this one. The packaging, as adorable as you can see. This also comes with the little winged plastic packaging like the One-Step Base had [ x ].

The back of the packaging doesn't have any directions or a description, so I pulled one from Testerkorea.com.

[ DESCRIPTION ]

Babyface BB Cream
UV SPF 36 PA ++

Helps to maintain clear skin naturally covers blemishes to give, not a long time Dark Ning. [ what? ]

UV A and UV B SPF36 PA ++

Angel Steere good extract contains skin softening effect moisturizing grant safflower extract on the skin and softens the skin shows.

[ The translation they did was quite rough, LOL ]

[ HOW TO USE ]

Contents taken a good amount, it will spread by hand or puff or brush.

I love when I get products that come sealed like this!

There are a selection of two types of BB creams you can choose in this form: Moisture & Silky. I ended up choosing the Silky option.

This BB cream is much thicker than other BB creams I've used. Coverage is light to medium, but buildable. I'm sure with one more coat, you can achieve full coverage. I first applied this with a brush & the cream didn't spread as evenly & as easily as applying it with my fingers. Cream applies smooth as well. Easy to blend. It also settles very fast & doesn't smudge when I happen to touch my face.

However, there is less product that I had imagined. There is a lot of air in the container.

Overall, I'm highly pleased with this product, but the fact that there is a lot of air in the container definitely makes me feel a little annoyed. If I would have paid full price, I kind of would have felt cheated. I still will use this BB cream when I feel like switching up! Giving this a 4/5!

If you would like to try this product out for yourself:

I hope you've enjoyed this review.

Have a wonderful day/night! <3

REVIEW: Baviphat Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack!

Good morning lovelies! Hope you've had a wonderful weekend. I did a little more moving & cleaning. I'm almost done! I'm so happy. I did a bunch of organizing in my new room this weekend & I'm so pleased! I also did some DIY projects to make my room more girly & pretty!

I've had Baviphat's Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack for awhile now, so I definitely have used enough of this product to get a general idea of what this product does for my skin. It's my first official sleeping pack. I bought it since I heard it was good for clearing up acne pretty well. I don't have a lot of acne ( pimples ), just a good amount of blackheads on my nose, which never seem to go away, but every so often, I'll get a random breakout.

The back on the product packaging. There isn't any English directions, so I pulled some from TesterKoreas website.

[ DESCRIPTION ]

Baviphat Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack

It's apple therapy for soothing trouble skin.

Easy care to trouble skin and remove dead skin. Soothing a trouble and make your skin smooth and bright.

[ HOW TO USE ]

Evenly apply a suitable amount onto the face before sleeping and wash off with warm water in the next morning.

The sleeping pack comes in a cute, apple shaped packaging with a leaf. Super cute!

Opening the container, you see that it has a divider that separates the product from getting on the lid as well as a small spoon/spatula.

The sleeping pack is a apple core yellow color & smells exactly like apples, much similar to the Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey Cream I reviewed last week. [ x ] Seems I'm having apple fever!

It doesn't leave a color to your face, but I find that it does tend to feel a tacky once applied. However, it doesn't transfer to my pillow during the night since I tend to apply it way before I initially go to bed.

For awhile, I stopped using this sleeping pack bc I was traveling a lot, but I picked it back up & have seen a wonderful improvement in the way my pimples clear up. I just had a pretty nice pimple on my chin. Two days ago, it was red & a little filled with nastiness, but while using this sleeping pack, it has cleared up quite well!

Overall, I'd have to give this a 5/5. I keep running into products that I fall in love with!

MINI-REVIEW: Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey Cream!

Good morning darlings! TGIF! I've still got a pretty buys weekend ahead of me, but I'm ready for it to be all over. Last night I stubbed my toe trying to move a panel to another spot in a room. IT HURRRRTS! D: I'm okay though :)

Today, I'll be reviewing the samples of Tony Moly's Redd Appletox Honey Cream I bought my first haul from TesterKorea. I debated on getting a full sized container of this, but since I haven't finished off my Holika Hoilka Water March Moisture Full Cream [ x ], I decided against getting it. If you read my review on the Water March Cream, you know it didn't really suit my face as well as other moisturizers.

[ FIRST IMPRESSIONS ]

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture what the product actually looks like [ with my own camera ], but it's a slightly more honey yellow color. It smells exactly like apples. YUMMY. It has a really smooth & gel-like consistency. This cream isn't sticky at all, as you would expect with Honey in it's name, it would be. I found that it easy absorbs into my skin & leaves my skin feelings amazingly moisturized! Like I'm so upset that I've used all the samples up. D:

Verdict: PURCHASE

I think once I'm completely done with the Water March Cream, I'll end up buying this. I'd like to buy it now, but I honestly don't wanna waste the other moisturizer I have while using this particular one. I love this moisturizer. Love it so so SOO much. It'll be on my wishlist for awhile until I'm about 3/4ths done with my other moisturizer, which by the way, I've been using & I have used about half of the jar so far [ go me! ].

REVIEW: Skin Food Peach Sake Toner!

Well, good morning my darlings! Oh man, my week is going to be so hetic! We're finally cleaning out my apartment & going through what I need or don't need. Goodwill is going to love me! It's definietly time for a new start & getting rid of the "don't needs" makes me feel so great! I hope you're week is going smoothly. It's HUMPDAY <3. Oh, & I finally went & seen Insidious 2. I'm pretty used to jump scare movies, so I expected a lot of that. It was such a good movie & a wonderful follow-up to it's predecessor. Definitely explained a lot that needed to be.

Today, I'll be reviewing Skin Food's Peach Sake Toner, which is part of a Peach Sake line Skin Food offers. I ended up purchasing this simply bc TesterKorea didn't seem to carry a full sized Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Toner. I did a mini-review on the samples I ordered awhile back [ review here ]. I really wanted to get that particular one, but decided since there wasn't any on their website, that I would try this one... half my decision was made bc of the bottle. :P

The product comes in a really pretty, matte bottle shaped like something you'd pour sake out of. [ I've never had sake, so I wouldn't personally know ]. It didn't come with a box. Instead, it was tightly sealed in plastic with a perforated part to easily take the plastic off. I love how bright & fresh the colors look against the bottle. In the above photo, it says:

Peach Sake Toner
Food Therapy
Special food ingredients for the skin. Contains many nutritive ingredients such as fresh plants, fruits, etc. to keep our skin healthy.
135ml

Sounds pretty impressive.

[ DESCRIPTION ]

SKINFOOD Peach Sake Toner (Pore-refining)
A refreshing toner that eliminates shine from enlarged pores and excessive sebum production with finest sake and peach extracts.

[ TO USE ]
Wash your face, put a portion of the toner on your palm and then rub it gently into your face or put a small amount on a cosmetic cotton pad and smoothly apply outward along facial textures.

The cap kind of has a cork feeling to it, but it twists off. I love the detailing!

There is also a protective seal on the opening, which I like. I also really like how the product dispenses, that way you don't end up pouring too much out.

As you can clearly tell, my pores needed some cleansing. This was taken after I wash & toned my face with this toner. Pretty effective! It also smells heavenly! Like peach schnapps or peach Ciroc if you've ever had the opportunity to smell either one of those. It has a sweet peach scent. Maybe a little sweeter than what an actual peach would smell like.

Overall, I definitely am glad I chose to try this toner out before any others. It cleans well without leaving my skin feel tight. My pores look much better after continuous use of this toner. I don't know if I would purchase again due to the fact that I would love to try other toners, but this toner is awesome for it's price.

A definite 5/5. Might be my 2nd holy grail toner~ LOL
