UPDATE: Back to Blonde!

Good morning darlings. Unfortunately, I don't have a review to post today. I hope you'll understand. x3

For the past two days, I have been trying to get my blonde hair color back. Last night, I finally got my hair color to the point where my next bleaching will have my hair a platinum blonde. Or I could just leave it the color it is. If you follow me on any of my social medias, you know I've had brown/black/deep red hair for the last 3 years. This past week, I decided that it was time to go back to my natural roots!

Here's what my hair looks like wet after washing the bleach out of my hair. For some odd reason, my hair does the gradient thing on it's own. I'm certainly not complaining.

After I dried & styled it. Bokeh effect for added cuteness. :3

These I took just this morning after sleeping on it. My mother actually love the color. So do my friends & boyfriend.

Back view. Pretty curls!

As of right now, I'm unsure if I'll be bleaching it another time to get my hair to full blonde. I'm really content with how it looks as of right now. We'll just have to see. I'll be back next week with my normal review posts, so don't think I've abandoned my normal routine!

Hope you've enjoyed!

Have a wonderful day & an even better one tomorrow!

HAUL & REVIEW: Limecrime Lippies!

Good morning darlings! I'm finally back at work! It's been a good week off, but now it's back to business! Before getting into this haul & review, I wanted to give you all a heads up with what will be going on in the next few months. As of this past week, a close friend, her fiance', & I have agreed that we will all move in together within the next few months. I couldn't be more excited to do so! They're such amazing people to take me on with them. Now, onto the blog post!

I was lucky enough to have to opportunity to purchase some Limecrime Opaque Lipsticks thanks to my mother. I had been eyeing them up for at least & year now. Can I just tell you how over the moon I am about these lipsticks? I highly believe that at least 1 of them with be with me where ever I go. Before we go into the colors, let me give you some information on the Limecrime line:

- They have an extensive line of opaque lipsticks, glosses, palettes, loose pigments, polsihes & eye liners.
- CRUELTY FREE!!
- VEGAN!!

Check out how adorable the packaging is!

Ah, the packaging of the lipsticks are just as cute!

All my lippies in a row. <3

I've never seen a line I've wanted to complete more than this line. I already have the entire polish collection as well as Suedeberry, which is one of their two Velvetines. ( If you all would like reviews on either one of the products I currently have, please feel free to leave a comment below! ) Now, let's get on to the lipsticks I received. I'm going to start from lightest color to darkest color.

First up, we have my favorite, Coquette.

A basic nude color. What I like about this one is the way it looks on my lips. Other nude lipsticks tend to make my overall made up face look off, so I started to not wear nudes as much, but this lipstick looks amazing on me. It's even my boyfriends personal favorite on me.

I love this color. I literally can't stop wearing it.

Next up, Babette, which is Coquettes pinker cousin.

Slightly more pink than Coquette, this color also looks rather amazing on. It's not as pink as I'd hoped it look on me, but it's still very beautiful. Another favorite of my boyfriends as well ( he has a thing for nude lip colors on me ).

It's almost hard to tell the difference between the two on my lips.

Here's a comparison of Coquette & Babette.

I could only successfully capture the difference in color if I took the picture with flash. Coquette is on the bottom. Babette above it.

Next, Geradium!

A bright, hot pink lipstick. I though this was going to be "hotter" on, but maybe if I use a white base under it, it'll come out brighter.

I do really love this color.

Lastly, I have Countessa Florescent!

Beautiful, blue-based PINK. Like BAM IN YOUR FACE pink.

I can't get enough of this color either. Bright lips for the summer is my new thing.

Overall, I definitely love each & every one of these lipsticks in their own way. They aren't drying at all, but a good pre-lip scrub will help with the application & keep it from looking weird. I ended up wearing Geradium before using a lip scrub & you could tell that I needed to exfoliate my lips. Let me say this again, these lipsticks aren't drying, they just dry to a more matte look that tends to show off your un-exfoliated lips.

I, for sure, will be purchasing from Limecrime again. Shipping was extremely fast. I ordered on a Thursday or Friday & received the package within the next week. Website navigation is easy peasy!

5/5 for awesome, cruelty free, opaque lippes!

I really hope you've enjoyed this review.
Hope you have a wonderful day, have an even better one tomorrow.

MINI-HAUL & COLLECTION: The Body Shop!

Good morning. I almost forgot about posting today. I guess I'm not feeling up to par since I've had to take off the entire week from work. Sad to say, but I actually want to work! I'll be back up & running by next week. Hope you all are enjoying your week days. :)

Today, I'm going to be doing a mini-haul post & a post of my The Body Shop collection. My mom hoards bath & body stuff from their store & had turned me into a TBS junkie as well. First, I'll show you the new stuff I was bought, thanks to my mother.

From left to right:
- Vitamin E Sink-in Moisture Mask
- Buriti Baby Body Butter ( to be discontinued )
- Vitamin E Body Butter

I love all their Vitamin E products they sell! As for the actual website, navigation is quite easy. They also have a sale going on right now that I HIGHLY recommend you take advantage of. Normally, their body butters are at least $20 USD. Their current sale going on is Buy 1, Get 1 Half Off, & Buy 2, Get 1 Free. That initially means you are able to get three products under the sale for less than what you would normally pay. Three Vitamin E body butters normally cost $60 USD, but with the current promotion, my mother was able to get three for only $10 USD. How nifty! I hope this sale stays by the time I get paid. :P

Now onto my TBS collection!

You can clearly see what my favorites are. :3
I'm a sucker for Shea Butter & Almond. Unfortunately, I believe the Almond line has been discontinued, so thankfully, my mom was able to get what she could get at the time another sale was going on.
This picture does not picture the other TBS items I have. At my fathers, I have a Coconut Set ( body butter, body scrub, body wash, & lip butter ).
Also missing from this picture is a handful of lip butters I couldn't locate at the time of taking this photo. I'm unsure as to how many I have, but if you know my mom, you know I have quite a few. I even might be missing a small body butter or two.

I can definitely say that I love The Body Shop & their products. The quality is wonderful. The price is something I can live with for such high quality products, but seeing as I didn't buy any of my collection, I have no room to complain. So a big thank you to my mother who has given me the opportunity to have such an extensive collection of TBS products. ( You should see her collection! They're so well organized in her bathroom. Like a mini shop! )

Please check out The Body Shop whenever you can. I highly recommend you take advantage of their promotion right now.

ATTENTION: The body shop has changed their promotion. Their current promotion is as follows:

Buy 2, Get 2 Free
Buy 3, Get 3 Free

Still a wonderful deal!

I hope you've enjoyed this blog post. Please do not think I'm boasting about what I have, I just thought it'd be interesting to show my readers.

Hope you have a wonderful day. Have a better one tomorrow.
Don't forget to check out The Body Shop!

This post is dedicated to my mother, for without her, I wouldn't have as much as I have. Thank you mom. Even knowing my flaws & how hard I've been trying to make things right, you've never given up on me yet, I love you.

MONTHLY BEAUTY BAG: July 2013 Ipsy Bag!

Hello & Good morning! Hope you had an enjoyable weekend. I know I did. So, after some long thinking, I decided on a new post schedule that would enable to me to properly use products to the potential they have & give good reviews on them as well. I've decided on just Mondays & Wednesdays, omitting Friday to relax before the weekend. I hope this is of no trouble to my readers & I do hope you understand. I'm also very sorry for the late posting. As of this week, I have to take off to watch my little one since both by trusted sitters are out of town. More QT with my BB!

Now, let’s get on to the beauty bag. I've known about Ipsy, formerly know as My Glam for awhile now, & I really wanted to get into it, but the bags they were sending out before becoming Ipsy weren't really up to par with many beauty gurus & bloggers, so I passed on every opportunity I was given to be subscribed. That was until My Glam, now Ipsy, revamped their bags & items that they send out every month.

By December of 2012, I was ready to be a subscriber. Thankfully, I was able to get on this list & I’m now a proud Ipsy bag receiver.

A little detail about this monthly beauty subscription:

- for $10 USD a month, you are sent 4-5 deluxe samples/full products to try out.

- every bag is almost the same, except for some slight variations ( I.E. color choices may be different for products from the same brand ).

- there is no need to constantly worry about going back to the website to buy the subscription. Since it’s monthly, you simply enter your information, credit/debit card & all, & Ipsy charges you the $10 & your bag is normally shipped out before the middle of the month.

- there is normally a wait to be subscribed. Ipsy is only limited to how much product they receive from each of the beauty brands, so if you really want to be a subscriber, I DEFINITELY want to tell you to sign up & get on the wait list. This bag is ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!

Now for the fun part, the contents of my July bag!

This month, the bag is sturdy plastic, clear hot pink in color & in a cylinder shape. I received:
- Big Sexy Hair Weather Proof Humidity Resistant Spray
- Pop Cosmetics Pouty Pop Crayon in the shade Coral Crush
- COOLA Mineral Face SPF 20 Rose Essence Tinted Moisturizer
- BH Cosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow Sample
- Benefit Benetint

Here are close ups of the make-up products:

BH Cosmetics Palette, California Collection

- Hollywood - A vibrant, matte purple
- San Francisco - Metallic Bronze
- Malibu - Metallic Gold

To me, the colors aren’t very opaque, but it might be the way I apply them. I use San Francisco the most as it’s the most neutral color in the palette. I’m able to wear this color to work.

Pop Cosmetics Pouty Pop Crayon in shade Coral Crush

My camera had a hard time focusing on the product itself.

I love this so much. Prior to receiving this bag, I stopped in at Ulta to browse any lip products I could come across & stumbled upon this exact color. I remembering me thinking that I really wanted it & how I would come back & get it. Looks like I don’t have to, bc I now have two thanks to my mother. The container twists the product up like normal chapsticks do & it’s very nice & non-drying. I wear this at least twice a week.

Benefit’s Benetint

So cute & small!

Just like the Pouty Pop Crayon, I had been eyeing up this tint for awhile. As I was on my way to work the morning I received my Ipsy bag, I wanted to stop in at a drugstore & find a similar dupe to this. I was very excited to get this, but the color payoff isn’t what I thought it would be. It does tint, but I rather enjoy sporting the Uzzlang lip look & this tint doesn’t really tint enough for me to do that look, but I still like this for an all over wash of color on my cheeks & lips when I’m being lazy.

COOLA Mineral Face SPF Rose Essence Tinted Moisturizer

I used to be a big fan of tinted moisturizers until BB creams took over my life, but I like this sample. To be honest, I had no clue it was tinted before completely reading the tube. I’m not sure when I’ll use this, but it’s small enough to travel with, so maybe on a day when I forget to bring a bulky BB cream with me… yes, I do tend to do that… don’t judge me.

A first for me. Here’s a before & after of this tinted moisturizer on my skin. I have a few red spots & dark spots & my nose is peppered with blackheads. The lighting is a little off, but I’m happy with how this came out. As you can see, the tinted moisturizer did cover my red spots fairly well & also managed to cover my blackhead infested nose ( I made that sound so gross ). I probably won’t use this unless I absolutely had to. The smell, however, is really nice. I love anything rose scented.

As for the Big Sexy Hair Hairspray ( pictured in top picture ), I don’t feel like it does it’s job for me. Even after apply it to my frizzles after they are tamed, this wears off & my mop top is back to being frizz central. I need a much stronger hairspray to tame this mane down, but I like it for what it’s worth.

Are you sold yet? The products, regardless of how they work or don’t work on me, are pretty BOMB. I’m very happy that Ipsy upgraded their bags. Me & my mother look forward to this bad every month. We even get jealous of some of the products we get.

All in all, I HIGHLY recommend you subscribing to this beauty bag. You really can’t go wrong for $10 a month. It’s much better than another monthly beauty subscription that I won’t be naming.

5/5 for sure!

Hope you have a wonderful day, have an even better day tomorrow!

REVIEW: Tony Moly Latte Art Milk-Cacao Pore Pack!

Good morning my darlings. Another weekend we are meeting! Looks like I'm going out of town to visit my mother & step-father with my little one & my hunnie. Some solitude with the ones I love. Today I’m bringing you my review for Tony Moly’s Latte Art Milk-Cacao Pore Pack, one of my first Tony Moly products.

I'm not sure if this one is a newer installment into the Latte Art line, but I do know the other two, the Milk-Tea & the Cappuccino, both came in different containers before their newer ones.. They were probably what drew me to the Latte Art line, but I'm definitely not mad about them being in different containers. No complaints here.

I adore the packaging. I’m a sucker for coffee anything, so this product was right up my ally.

Out of the box picture. The spoon that comes with it is too cute. As you can see, I’ve been using it. I took these pictures awhile after mixing it.

Look at that cute swirl! So fancy. The mixing spoon is engraved with Tony Moly's logo.

When unmixed, the mask has a brown swirled layer & a white swirled layer. Once mixed, the mask becomes a more grey/brown color.

See, this is what it looks like completely mixed. I haven’t mixed the entire thing up. It’s already really messy to try & do in the first place & the spoon is too small to mix the entire container up.

[ DESCRIPTION ON BOX ]
NOT PICTURED

“ Pore tightening cacao pack with moisturizing milk cream.

This cacao-in-cream mask containing soft milk cream with sweet cacao powder lightens pores and moisturizes the skin. The cacao pack from Ghana contains theobroma cacao (cocoa) fruit powder, which has an excellent sebum-absorbing function, and it removes impurities from the pores. Althea officinalis root extract provides excellent moisturizing effects to the skin, keeping the skin moisturized even after washing your face. In addition, mentha piperita (peppermint) leaf extract and salix alba (willow) bark extract remove dead skin cells and tighten pores, making the skin smooth and firm.

[ VOLUME ] 85g

[ DIRECTIONS ] After washing your face, apply our toner to prepare the skin for the next step in skin care. Mix the cacao pack and milk cream in a 1:1 ratio and apply the mixture to the entire face, avoiding the skin around eyes and mouth. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. After opening the product for the first time, it is more convenient to mix the milk and the cacao parts with the spatula contained in the box before use ( Use 1-2 times a week ). “

A small dot of the product on my hand.

A small amount of the product on my hand. I didn't allow it enough time to completely dry, but it doesn't take too long to dry up.

I love the smell of the mask. It smells exactly like chocolate milk to me. I also absolutely love how moisturized my face feels after this. I’ve noticed after using it a few times that my pores look a lot better, but my face also seems to be purging some nastiness that needed to get out. It’s not a problem for me since I want all that gunk out of my pores. My only problem with this mask is the burn I sometimes get when using it, especially on my chin area, where my hyper pigmentation is. Other than that, I can honestly say I love this mask.

I got this from kpoptown.com for $11.80 USD. I don’t feel the price is that bad for this product. It’s lasted me awhile. I clearly haven’t used it up yet.

Would I repurchase? I’m very undecided if I would. I normally like to try many new things that I don’t see myself running out any time soon, but I do love this mask.

Overall, 5/5.

I hope you have enjoyed this review. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

A little side note: I may or may not have to start posting on different days or exclude a day from my posting schedule. I’m still using and trying out some of the current products I’m using & don’t believe I can completely give good reviews by only using them for a little bit, except for my previous review. We’ll just have to see what happens.

REVIEW: Tony Moly Clean Dew Broccoli Sprout Cleansing Cream!

Good morning & happy Wednesday! Hope you all are having an enjoyable week. Today I’m reviewing Tony Moly’s Clean Dew Broccoli Sprout Cleansing Cream. I’m reviewing this earlier than I expected I was going to, but I couldn't wait to review this.

Here it is in it’s package. It was a little damaged when I got it.

I saw this product watching one of my subscriptions on You Tube & thought the packaging was super adorable, but didn't really get what a cleansing cream was until I received it. It’s sort of like Ponds, but MUCH cuter & Much more beneficial for your skin.

Refreshing green color of the packaging.

In all it’s cute glory!

The absolutely adorable little sprout on top of the lid!

Here’s the English description on the box:

“ The brilliant cleansing care system brings strong vital power of fresh sprouts with dewy water.

The fresh cleansing cream that removes impurities and make-up as it contained the broccoli sprout of the Super food.

The young broccoli cleansing cream makes the skin healthy and revitalized. It provides super energies as it contained the active ingredient of “the super food” such as blueberry, tomato and young broccoli. The AHA makes the skin smooth and glossy while removing dead skin cells and impurities from the skin. Containing young green tea and lavender, this fresh cleansing cream energizes the tired skin giving the comfortable and peaceful cleansing time.

What is Broccoli Sprout?
This fresh and green sprout delivers full of spring vitality and is very rich in various nutrients including vitamin A, vitamin C and minerals.

[ DIRECTIONS ] Apply an appropriate amount on the entire face, gently massage with finger tips, wipe off with a soft tissue, and cleanse with our cleansing foam.

[ CAUTION ] For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if signs of irritation and/or rash appear. “

Here’s what the cream looks like. It has tiny green beads in it that dissolve as you rub the cream into your skin.

A small amount of the cream on my skin.

Rubbed in a little to burst the beads. This cream isn't exfoliating at all.

Here I did a little experiment with the cleansing cream. I took 3 lipstick/tints/stain, 2 eyeliners ( one water proof, one felt tip ), a mascara, an eye shadow stick, a brow pencil, a BB cream, & 3 eye shadows & put lines of the cosmetics on my skin to test the ability of the cleansing cream.

As you can see from the picture, the only things that stayed or left a mark was the lipstick/tint/stain & the eye liners. Rubbing a little harder may have gotten the felt tip liner completely off, but I acted as if I was using this on my face instead of my arm. Pretty good at removing most makeup.

The day I received the cleansing cream, I had on a full face of make-up & the cream managed to take off all of my existing make-up. Not to mention how nice the cream smells. It has a light, clean scent.

Overall, I really like this product. It works well & leaves my face feeling very nice. After using this, I do use a face wash to remove any other residue on my skin that this cream may have missed. The packaging may be a little bulky for travel, but I enjoy the comments people make about how cute it is.

I got this on eBay for $10.95 USD, but I’m sure you can find another seller who sells it for less than that.

I’ll give this a 4.5/5 since it doesn't completely remove all makeup from your skin, unless you’re rubbing really hard. Would I repurchase? Once I run out, I probably will end up buying this again. It’s too cute not to have in my collection.

Hope this reviewed helped & I hope you've enjoyed it.

Have a wonderful day & have an even better one tomorrow.
