My CURRENT Morning/Nightly Routine!

Good morning. :)

Thank goodness it's finally Friday. Time for another lazy weekend since I never plan to do anything major. I'm just not that into major events. ^_^;

Anyway, today I decided it'd be best to show my morning & nightly routine, just to give an idea of what I use that has been working on me since starting this routine. Before truly caring about my skin, I didn't do much except wash my face with Dove soap & use whatever moisturizer I could find. Thankfully, I've learned the benefits of having nice looking skin! ( I get many more compliments now on how smooth my face looks )

I've also listed where I got each item from just in case anyone was wondering. I primarily use eBay & kpoptown.com for my orders.

Morning Routine!
I refuse to wash my face in the morning since I have already washed it the night before. I'm not sure if I'm just weird like that, but I personally belive I don't need to. Here's the order of use:
- Witch Hazel [ any drugstore ]- it's an astringent & a light one at that. It also helps with reddness.
- Aquaphor [ any drugstore ]- I use this on my dryer ares, my chin, around my nose, in between my eyebrows.
- Skin Candescense [ purchased from a thirft store; it was unopened ] - It's a skin whitening cream, but it also leaves a glowy finish once applied. I belive it also has anti-aging benefits as well.
- Clinque Even Better Skin Correcting Face Lotion [ Dillards; Macys ] - It doesn't really correct my skin color, but it does have a good amount of SPF in it.
- Tony Moly Latte Art - Milk Tea Morning Pack [ eBay, Amazon, kpoptown.com ] - I've already done a full review of this product & why I'm in love with it.
- The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream [ The Body Shop ] - It's got Vitamin E in it. My mom just gave me it & I've been using it ever since. I must say, it does work.
Nightly Routine!
It's not very different from my morning routine. I do, however, wash my face.
- Clinque Take the Day Off Makeup Remover [ Dillards, Macys ] - It's oil based, so it takes whatever eye makeup I have on completely off. I've used this remover for years.
- Cetaphil [ any drugstore ]- It's gentle on my skin. I use this with a scrubby to gently scrub the dead skin off my face.
- Witch Hazel [ any drugstore ]
- Aquaphor [ any drugstore ]
- Lancome Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate [ Sephora, Dillards, Macys ] - Deluxe sample from Sephora. I'm unsure of how well this works, but I believe if I start using an anti-aging serum now, it will benefit me in the future.
- YESto Carrots: Repairing Night Cream [ found at Ross; select drugstores. Target ] - I love this night moisturizer. Really does leave my skin feeling smooth. It does sting a little at first but that's something I overlook.
- The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream [ The Body Shop ]
Really, it's nothing too spectacular, but I use all these religously, morning & night. I look forward to doing my makeup in the morning now that I have a smoother canvas to work with. BB creams go on much better & my skin just over all looks much healthier.
I also use a few facial masks when I really wanna kick my skin into shape. I didn't picture My Beauty Diary bc... I forgot... :p

 - CVS Brand Purifying Mint Maque - [ CVS stores ] ( dupe for Queen Helene )
- Queen Helene Grape Seed Extract Peel Off Mank [ Ulta, beauty suppy stores, any drugstore ]
- YESto Tomatoes Clear Skin Mask - [ found at Ross, select drugstores, Target ] - ( this one makes my skin itch, so I don't use it often )
- Tony Mold Latte Are - Cacao Pore Pack - [ eBay, Amazon, kpoptown.com ] ( I use this one the most )

I plan to incorporate more Korean based skin care items into my morning/nightly routine as I get the chance to purchase them. As for now, this is what I'm working with & it has worked for me.

Boring? I know right :D huehue
Hope you have a wonderful day, have a wonderful weekend!

REVIEW: Tony Moly Latte Art Milk - Tea Morning Pack!

Before this product entered my life, I knew nothing about how to combat the extreme flakiness my skin had, especially my chin & nose area.

Now before RAVING about the wonders this products has done for me, let me first elaborate on what I was using before I added this into my morning routine.

I exfoliate on a nightly basis. In the morning, I lightly exfoliate with a baby washcloth. I use Aquaphor, a healing ointment, on my dry spots, a skin brightning/whitning serum by some company I can't seem to remember the name of, I use a skin tone correcting facial lotion by Clinique amongst other day lotions I switch around monthly. You would think all that alone, ESPECIALLY the Aquaphor would help my "crusties"... not even maybe...

Until this beautiful baby decended the heavens above & landed into my hands.

As you can see by the box, I have used this product a lot. I've brought it along with me like it's my second child.

Here's a back view of the packaging. All in Korean. ( It helps to find websites that translate what the products do before you purchase. )

The directions of usage in English.

"Make-up stater for ideal facial expression"

Concentrated Skin Whitening & Anti-wrinkle System

This creamy pack type make-up starter is speedy skin boosting primer with instan moisture veil, hydrating touch and silky finish, it prepares the skin for following steps of make-up with smoothing effect on rough surface. Containing black tea extract, this multi-purpose formula delivers plenty of nourishment and activavting elements into the skin. leave the skin amazingly raident and supple. Also, it makes the skin to be ready for wonderful make-up fit and touch, it includes corn hair extract and caffine to make the lifted face line.

[ DIRECTIONS ] Take an adequate amount of the products, gently apply all over the face for about 20 seconds and softly pat to penetrate.
You get 100ml of product.

Nothing fancy about the way the products comes out of the tube. It is hygenic in my opinion.

Here's a little blob of the product on my hand. To me, it's a light beige color. It has a think texture, but it feels very moisturizing as you apply it to your skin.

As you can see, it goes on clear. It's not used to hide imperfections, but I do find that it covers the pores on my nose well.

I literally have NOTHING bad to say about this product as it does exactly what it says. Once applied, my skin feels soft & my "crusties" have vanished completely. All around, this product is absolutely amazing IMO & I'm extremely happy to have found this. I had a feeling when I bought it that it was going to be my go to facial product... now to just buy a few more... I'm so worried about running out already.

You can get this on eBay, Amazon, or my personal favorite, www.kpoptown.com. I got this on eBay for $8.33 from an eBay seller that goes by the name cosmeticmarket2012. Free shipping & samples with every item purchased.

Overall, I give this product a 5/5!
Hope you have enjoyed.
Have a wonderful day. Have an even better one tomorrow.

"Ready for review, Madame!" & A little more about MOI.

Good morning! ^_^

I seem to be in quite a good mood today considering I am at work.. c'est la vie.

In my last post, I mentioned that I had already started collecting Korean cosmetics. I've had them maybe over 3 weeks to a month & I HIGHLY believe they're worth talking about. Since I haven't been able to actually sit down ( with good lighting ) to take pictures of these items, I figured.. hey, why not just give a heads up as to what's going to be talked about in the next few weeks... ^_^; Lord, I sure hope I'm doing this right..

So here's what I have so far:

TONY MOLY:
- Latte Art Milk - Cacao Pore Pack
- Latte Art Milk - Tea Morning Pack
- Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in the shade 01 ( strawberry )

ETUDE HOUSE:
- Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit in the shade N02-Light Beige
- Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color in shade #OR202 Peach Sugar Cake

HOLIKA HOLIKA:
- Auqa Petit Jelly BB Cream in shade #2 Aqua Natural

SKIN 79:
- Super BB Triple Functions BB Cream ( Hot Pink )

MY BEAUTY DIARY:
- Hello Kitty Strawberry Milk Mask Set
- All in One Set ( Pink )

This does not include the products I have bought WITHIN THE LAST WEEK! Dx
I really have a problem.. I shall try to control that... ( I'll just keep lying to myself )

I'm sure once I get to sit down, blogging these items will be easier since I've used them for quite sometime.

Some more background information on myself:
I should have noted this back in the first post, but where was my head? I'm not sure.

I have a beautiful 15 month old baby boy named Ashton Michael, whom is my entire universe. He has saved me from a life of complete madness. I honestly couldn't have asked for a more well behaved child ( bc I DEFINITELY was no angel ) .

Such a ham. <3

I'll take my leave, I have some file work to get done & I feel like rewatching Kiki's Delivery Service. Oh, childhood. Hope you all are having a wonderful day. Have a better one tomorrow.

Still lub you.

What's a blog without a proper introduction?

I guess I got into this not because I feel the need to have something to do, but simply for the fact that I'm highly unsure that anyone around where I live knows the luxuries I do.

My birth given name.. Ashley. Too common. My best friend of 7 years adorned with me the name "Mickee" as to sort of... break me out of the mold, and it did. 21 years of age. I currently reside in Lousiana. It's hot.. humid.. sticky, but it's home. The only thing it's not good for is my weight & my skin ( the food is way too good down here ).

Ever since I was a child, I was obsessed with Asian culture. My entire room from years 11-21 was based on Asian culture, but this blog isn't about the actual culture itself. It's more on the discoveries I've made in the last few years due to Asian, more precisely Korean BEAUTY products ( I only mentioned the obsessions since childhood because I was THAT into it. ) .

My Beauty Diary was what set me off. I realized it was the only product that sank into my skin & allowed my "crusties" to subside for a few days, as my skin would start to dry, mainly in my T-zone, way too much. It got to a point where I didn't care anymore, the hyperpigmintation on my chin along with the dry skin was obviously never going to go away. The sheet masks were working, but only for a limited time. That is until I started a skin regimine that I should have started YEARS ago.

It's not just that Korean skin products that have me sold either, it's their cosmetics that really set the stage. The cute packaging, the cute Korean pop stars advertising the brands' products. How could I pass these things up? I honestly didn't know what I was missing out on all these years.

Since discovering Korean skin care & cosmetics, my skin has taken a turn for the better. It's only been a few months since I've started adding in certain products into my morning & nightly regimine. I have more on the way now to try out.

Ultimatley, what I'm trying to get out of this blog, is a way to connect with my friends about the benefits of the cosmetics I'm trying & have tried. Makeup in the states can be pricey, if you want the good stuff. -.- I hope that by reviewing the products, it gives insight to the people I care about most & to whomever runs across this... blog that I have spontenously started.

I'm wondering if I even have time for all this ^_^;
How about we just see how this goes?

I promise my next posts won't be as long & boring...
huehue I love you doe <3
