REVIEW: Baviphat Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack!

Good morning lovelies! Hope you've had a wonderful weekend. I did a little more moving & cleaning. I'm almost done! I'm so happy. I did a bunch of organizing in my new room this weekend & I'm so pleased! I also did some DIY projects to make my room more girly & pretty!

I've had Baviphat's Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack for awhile now, so I definitely have used enough of this product to get a general idea of what this product does for my skin. It's my first official sleeping pack. I bought it since I heard it was good for clearing up acne pretty well. I don't have a lot of acne ( pimples ), just a good amount of blackheads on my nose, which never seem to go away, but every so often, I'll get a random breakout.

The back on the product packaging. There isn't any English directions, so I pulled some from TesterKoreas website.

[ DESCRIPTION ]

Baviphat Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack

It's apple therapy for soothing trouble skin.

Easy care to trouble skin and remove dead skin. Soothing a trouble and make your skin smooth and bright.

[ HOW TO USE ]

Evenly apply a suitable amount onto the face before sleeping and wash off with warm water in the next morning.

The sleeping pack comes in a cute, apple shaped packaging with a leaf. Super cute!

Opening the container, you see that it has a divider that separates the product from getting on the lid as well as a small spoon/spatula.

The sleeping pack is a apple core yellow color & smells exactly like apples, much similar to the Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey Cream I reviewed last week. [ x ] Seems I'm having apple fever!

It doesn't leave a color to your face, but I find that it does tend to feel a tacky once applied. However, it doesn't transfer to my pillow during the night since I tend to apply it way before I initially go to bed.

For awhile, I stopped using this sleeping pack bc I was traveling a lot, but I picked it back up & have seen a wonderful improvement in the way my pimples clear up. I just had a pretty nice pimple on my chin. Two days ago, it was red & a little filled with nastiness, but while using this sleeping pack, it has cleared up quite well!

Overall, I'd have to give this a 5/5. I keep running into products that I fall in love with!

MINI-REVIEW: Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey Cream!

Good morning darlings! TGIF! I've still got a pretty buys weekend ahead of me, but I'm ready for it to be all over. Last night I stubbed my toe trying to move a panel to another spot in a room. IT HURRRRTS! D: I'm okay though :)

Today, I'll be reviewing the samples of Tony Moly's Redd Appletox Honey Cream I bought my first haul from TesterKorea. I debated on getting a full sized container of this, but since I haven't finished off my Holika Hoilka Water March Moisture Full Cream [ x ], I decided against getting it. If you read my review on the Water March Cream, you know it didn't really suit my face as well as other moisturizers.

[ FIRST IMPRESSIONS ]

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture what the product actually looks like [ with my own camera ], but it's a slightly more honey yellow color. It smells exactly like apples. YUMMY. It has a really smooth & gel-like consistency. This cream isn't sticky at all, as you would expect with Honey in it's name, it would be. I found that it easy absorbs into my skin & leaves my skin feelings amazingly moisturized! Like I'm so upset that I've used all the samples up. D:

Verdict: PURCHASE

I think once I'm completely done with the Water March Cream, I'll end up buying this. I'd like to buy it now, but I honestly don't wanna waste the other moisturizer I have while using this particular one. I love this moisturizer. Love it so so SOO much. It'll be on my wishlist for awhile until I'm about 3/4ths done with my other moisturizer, which by the way, I've been using & I have used about half of the jar so far [ go me! ].

If you would like to purchase this for yourself:

REVIEW: Skin Food Peach Sake Toner!

Well, good morning my darlings! Oh man, my week is going to be so hetic! We're finally cleaning out my apartment & going through what I need or don't need. Goodwill is going to love me! It's definietly time for a new start & getting rid of the "don't needs" makes me feel so great! I hope you're week is going smoothly. It's HUMPDAY <3. Oh, & I finally went & seen Insidious 2. I'm pretty used to jump scare movies, so I expected a lot of that. It was such a good movie & a wonderful follow-up to it's predecessor. Definitely explained a lot that needed to be.

Today, I'll be reviewing Skin Food's Peach Sake Toner, which is part of a Peach Sake line Skin Food offers. I ended up purchasing this simply bc TesterKorea didn't seem to carry a full sized Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Toner. I did a mini-review on the samples I ordered awhile back [ review here ]. I really wanted to get that particular one, but decided since there wasn't any on their website, that I would try this one... half my decision was made bc of the bottle. :P

The product comes in a really pretty, matte bottle shaped like something you'd pour sake out of. [ I've never had sake, so I wouldn't personally know ]. It didn't come with a box. Instead, it was tightly sealed in plastic with a perforated part to easily take the plastic off. I love how bright & fresh the colors look against the bottle. In the above photo, it says:

Peach Sake Toner
Food Therapy
Special food ingredients for the skin. Contains many nutritive ingredients such as fresh plants, fruits, etc. to keep our skin healthy.
135ml

Sounds pretty impressive.

[ DESCRIPTION ]

SKINFOOD Peach Sake Toner (Pore-refining)
A refreshing toner that eliminates shine from enlarged pores and excessive sebum production with finest sake and peach extracts.

[ TO USE ]
Wash your face, put a portion of the toner on your palm and then rub it gently into your face or put a small amount on a cosmetic cotton pad and smoothly apply outward along facial textures.

The cap kind of has a cork feeling to it, but it twists off. I love the detailing!

There is also a protective seal on the opening, which I like. I also really like how the product dispenses, that way you don't end up pouring too much out.

As you can clearly tell, my pores needed some cleansing. This was taken after I wash & toned my face with this toner. Pretty effective! It also smells heavenly! Like peach schnapps or peach Ciroc if you've ever had the opportunity to smell either one of those. It has a sweet peach scent. Maybe a little sweeter than what an actual peach would smell like.

Overall, I definitely am glad I chose to try this toner out before any others. It cleans well without leaving my skin feel tight. My pores look much better after continuous use of this toner. I don't know if I would purchase again due to the fact that I would love to try other toners, but this toner is awesome for it's price.

A definite 5/5. Might be my 2nd holy grail toner~ LOL

REVIEW: Holika Holika Wonder Drawing 24Hr Auto Eyebrow!

Good morning lovelies. Glad to be back to blogging! I'm definitely feeling much better, but now little man has gotten sick! Poor baby, but he's taking it like a champ! Today, I'm reviewing Holika Holika's Wonder Drawing 24Hr Auto Eyebrow pen in the color Red Brown.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to use this product any more as it's much too dark for my hair color now, but regardless of that factor, I would definitely recommend this eyebrow pencil to anyone. The packaging isn't really special. It's more sleek looking, with dual ends. It's quite easy to travel with & is good for days when you may need to reapplying, but I've found that my eyebrows stay looking nice throughout the day when using this.

What I love about this product is how easy & convenient it is to use. The product is shaped in a way that makes it easy to use & draw eyebrows on without going through too much trouble. It's quite pigmented as well & has a bit of a waxy-ness to it that helps the hairs stay in place. The small spooly on the other end is quite useful for brushing the product in to make your eyebrows look more natural.

This is one swipe of the eyebrow pen. Pretty pigmented, but I wouldn't say it's a red brown. It looks more like a medium brown to me. However, I don't always have my eyebrows match my hair color at the time. I'd be walking around with red tinted eyebrows. Sounds pretty cool though. I may try that look one day :D.

Here's how the pen looks on my eyebrow:

As you can tell from the first picture, my eyebrows look a bit dirty-blonde instead of brown. ( I dislike my natural hair color ) They aren't as full & neat as my eyebrows should look. The bottom picture looks much better. The pen has filled in any gaps where hair may have been missing & my eyebrows look more full than they were before.

It's such a bummer that I'm unable to further use this product since bleaching my hair back to blonde, but I still will keep this handy in case I decide to go back to the dark side. hehehe. :P

Overall, a 5/5. I hope to get a color more suited to my hair one of these days.

If you'd like to try out this product:

Hope you've enjoyed this review. Sorry it's so short. I'm getting back into it!

Have a wonderful day & an even better one tomorrow!

Quick Update - What's Going On, What's Going To Happen.

Hello lovelies. I know, I forgot to post Friday. I'm so sorry. It looks as if I'll be moving a month earlier than planned due to some personal problems, so I've been dealing with that for the past few days. Thinking about what I'm going to be doing with everything & making sure I have everything & everyone on standby for when the move will happen. I'm more than ready for the move. It won't be a permanent move, but it will help me get back on my feet.

I also had to take 6 days off of work due to being really sick. :X The doctor has me on 5 different medications & I plan to stay on one of them permanently for my asthma & allergies. I hope to return back to work & back to blogging as well. I have another mini-haul in the works as well.

Again, I'm so sorry I didn't post on Friday. I definitely won't be letting this blog go any time soon, so please don't give up on me ^^

Love you all~

REVIEW: It's Skin One-Step Base in Lavender Pink!

I can't start off by saying good morning or good afternoon since I'm posting this review extremely late. I finally went seen a doctor for why I was sick, so now I'm on 5 medications to help battle the sinus infection/headache, etc. that seems to just have suddenly made itself home in me. So for tonight, I'll be reviewing It's Skin's One- Step Base in Lavender Pink.

I admit, the packaging is what really caught my eye & made me buy this, but for what it was worth, I decided to try this out. I love the cutie little angel wing plastic covering these Babyface products come with.

I knew nothing about It's Skin products before discovering this, the BB cream, & the pore powder. I still don't know much, but I enjoy this base a lot.

[ DESCRIPTION ]

Apply a good amount of it and widen with puff or brush.
via TesterKorea.com

This base also has:

- SPF 15
- Has 7 kinds of white flower extracts : cosmos, peach len's, jasmine, rose, etc.

The product comes sealed, so just like the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream, I advise if the seal is broken when you receive this product, to not use it.

The base definitely brightens up my skin tone & makes my face look much more fresh & glowing. Also, the base is much more liquid than the bases I've used from Holika Holika & Etude House, not that the texture of it makes a difference. It's easy to spread onto my face & allows my makeup to spread easier as well. It also has a light, fruity scent.

However, my only complaint is that this base doesn't last long, even under makeup, so my makeup starts fading faster than using other bases. I still like this base & use it for travel.

Overall, I'd have to give this product a 4/5 since it tends to wear off after a few hours of wear time.

If you'd like to try this product out for yourself:

TesterKorea.com - It's Skin Baby Face One-step Base - USD $5.00
Koreadepart.com - It's Skin Baby Face One-Step Base - USD $6.09

I'm so sorry for the delayed post. I hope to be better really soon & be back at work as soon as I possibly can. Please send all the love you can my way!

Goodnight lovelies.

REVIEW: Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream!

Good morning my lovelies. Another Monday morning to get through. I haven't been feeling very well as of recent, but I'm going to be positive & push through whatever is internally happening to me. I think I'm just going crazy! LOL :3 Today, I'll be Mizon's Snail Recovery Gel Cream!

Now I know how much this product has been reviewed & raved about, so, OF COURSE, I had to try this out for myself. However, I didn't buy it for getting rid of wrinkles, bc I don't have any wrinkles on my face now. I bought it for wrinkle prevention. I believe getting started early to prevent any types of wrinkles will definitely benefit me as I age. It's never too late to start early!

I'm assuming this fancy sticker that holds the box top means that this is a real Mizon product, as I've heard there are replicas of some Korean cosmetics.

[ DESCRIPTION ]

Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream
[ Containing of SNAIL SECRETION FILTRATE 74% ]

[ DIRECTIONS ]

Apply an appropriate amount on face after cleansing, dabbing until absorbed.

The packaging is super pink & simple. It also has a seal on the tube to prevent any germs from getting into the gel, so I highly advise if the seal is broken to not use this product.

I bet you're wondering why you would put snail secretions on your face. A little research shows that filtrated snail secretions are actually beneficial to your skin. It didn't weird me out much at all since you're always taking a gamble with products you're putting onto your skin.

Like I previously said, I bought this for the prevention of any wrinkles I may get as I age, but what I've noticed while using this product, is that it clears my current breakouts, including blackheads, keeps other breakouts from happening, as well as toning down the redness of my skin.

The get doesn't have any distinct coloring to it, & it absorbs into the skin amazingly well. The scent is light, but I honestly couldn't tell you what it smells like. Unless that's what a snail smells like, then I couldn't really put my finger on it.

Overall, I do believe this is a wonderful product to have in your skin care regime, morning & night time, so either fight already existing wrinkles, or to prevent any wrinkles from happening to your skin.

I'd have to give this a super 5/5.

If you want to try this out for yourself:

TesterKorea.com - Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream - USD $6.35
Koreadepart.com - Mizon Snail Recover Gel Cream - USD $22.25

Hope this review was helpful!

Have a wonderful day & an even better one tomorrow!

F(x) "Rum Pum Pum" Inspired Makeup Tutorial - Amber!

Good afternoon lovelies. Today I won't be reviewing anything, hope you're not mad. :3 My good friend Misa asked me if I would like to join her & 3 other bloggers on doing a makeup collaboration on F(x)'s new single "Rum Pum Pum". The sound of this song is so different, but I really enjoy it!

Before getting into the tutorial, let me introduce you to the ladies I collaborated with!

Amber - Myself
Victoria - Misa
Krystal - Park Chan Seul
Luna - Rini
Sulli - Babycakes

Click on the links to check out their tutorials!

I was super excited to get to do Amber's makeup. It was quite simple besides her awesome gem eyebrow! She's my favorite from the group, so when Misa approached me saying she needed someone to do Amber's makeup, I jumped to the opportunity!

Let's get started!

For the base I used Holika Holika's Miracle Real Skin Finish to brighten up my complexion. Amber's face is much brighter & whiter than mine, so using a base helped out.

Then for foundation/BB cream, I paired the base with Holika Holika's Aqua Petit Jelly BB cream, my go to BB cream.

My cheeks are so red ^^;

For shadowing, I used a bronzer & bronzing brush from elf cosmetics. Amber has a much smaller face than I & it looked as if she had some shadowing along her cheekbones. I also used this to contour my nose to make the bridge smaller.

I wasn't completely done with the face, but I moved on to focus on the eyes a little more.

Moving onto my eyes:

I primed my lids using a free sample of Stila's Prime Pot. I'm not sure of the shade since the name faded off long ago, but it's a nude base.

For an all over wash of color, like Amber had, I used Jemma Kidd - Vogue all over my lids & brow bone. It's a really shimmery, champagne color.

Then, using my Naked 2 Palette from Urban Decay with the eyeshadow brush included:

I used Bootycall all over my lids, then I took Tease & swiped that near my lash line, as Amber's makeup seems to be much darker near her lash line.

Lining my eyes, I took a charcoal color from Buxom & lined my eyes, winging it at the end. Immediately after, I used Blackout on the outer edge of the winged eyeliner & made it appear more gradient. Amber's eyeliner looked amazing & had a wonderful gradient going on. I then took Verve & applied that to my lash line as well to make the liner a more vibrant charcoal color.

I also applied YDK to the outer half of my lower lash line & Bootycall to the inner. Then, with the smaller side of the Urban Decay brush, I applied Blackout to my upper & lower waterline since I don't own any cream, gel, or pencil liners. Once done with the eyes, I put in my Circle Lenses. These are Misty Night - Brown from BeautyLenses.

I didn't have to use any mascara on my lashes. Amber's eyelashes looked as if they didn't have any mascara on them, so I didn't put any on, but you're more than welcome to if you would like. I had some clean up to do, so once I did so, I highlighted my face using Benefit's Up-Light.

Onto the lips:

The lips were quite easy to do. Amber's lips are a very light shade of pink. I used Etude House's Fresh Cherry Tint in the pink shade & Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in the peach shade followed by putting a little of the BB cream on the edges of my lips to make it more gradient like.

Now here's the most time consuming part!

Amber dons a crystal eyebrow in the video. I was thrilled to tackle this. I can tell you it took a lot of patience & lash glue, but the outcome was SOO worth it! She had a more colorful eyebrow, but I only had one color. Still managed to work for me. I used two different sizes of gems. You may use whatever sizes/colors you'd like!

The finished look!

Selfie Spam!

This look was so much fun to do. It took me awhile to perfect it, but I'm happy with the results. I hope I get to do another collaboration for makeup inspired tutorials again. This was so much fun! Many thanks to Misa for the awesome opportunity. Please check out the other looks as well. These ladies did an amazing job!

As always~
